Default greddy tt kit no bov sound

hey fellas new to the FI seen i just had a greddy twin turbo kit installed on my 350z im running on wastegates cus my boost controller is coming in this week. rite now im running at 6psi til i get the boost controller on but i dont hear the bov is this normal cus i have no boost controller yet. oh yeah i have the greddy rs bov any advice would be appreciated thanks and please be easy on me like i said this is my first turbo setup. hope i worded this rite

The boost controller has nothing to do with the BOV. Depending on how the nut is set on top of the valve, you may not be able to hear it while in the car.

Also, if you are running a stock block, I would be cautious with that boost controller.

^^ this ...on my greddy kit i also have the rs bov and i barely have to make boost to hear it..sounds like something is up....is it installed correctly?

ok ruthless my friend knows more about FI he's gonna check it out for me thanks for the info, and im bout to run a hallman pro rx boost controller, its only making 345 rwhp@ 5psi cus the tuner said it was spiking and i needed a boost controller.

eltness since u have the greddy rs bov u think maybe its set to soft? maybe thats why i cant hear it? like i said im new to the turbo seen so any info u give is helpful. the greddy rs is adjustable rite?

I have a Greddy RS on my other car. Yes, it is adjustable. If you have the setting to tight, above the possible pressure the BOV will see, it will not open, thus no BOV sound. If it is set to soft, it will stick open and you know if it sticks open. You'll start having major intake leaks, boost issues, idle problems, etc etc.

Sounds like it is too tight, or you may want to double check your vacumn line to make sure there are no kinks or leaks.

i would be worried if a tuner thinks putting a boost controller on will stop spikes. Why is it having "spikes". I would wonder what is making the spring spike boost.....maybe a boost leak that is intermittent?

Wastegates hooked up wrong, or vacuum leaks.
