Default Transmission power

I tried using search but couldnt really find anything on this, but if there is a thread out there regarding this topic, please link it.

I just got my FI build, Momentum Performance kit, and i started my engine build as well. I know i need to work on the transmission before i add more power, but what is the limits of our transmission? I was thinking of getting an Exeddy stage 2 clutch and Flywheel, but before i do that, whats the limits to the tranny? If anyone has prefrences to other parts, please let me know. I heard that ACT is not bad but what the opinions of yall? Thanks in advance.
*additional info, i have an 06 Rev-Up, if that matters*

The 350z MT tranny can handle 1200whp+.

If you're going with stock engine and keeping the power ~400whp then the JWT clutch is the best bang for the buck.

My JWT with a with stock disk held ~480ft-lb never slipped, with the build we put a 6puck in and has yet to slip at 570+ft-lb but ill be installing a carbonetic triple this weekend before we turn the boost up so i will never know the full potential.

I am a 3rd gear killer myself, ~510rwhp slam 3rd and BOOM, literally knocked my rearview off.

Aside from the triple cone syncros, what are the things people keep saying are "better" or "improved" on the cd009?

1->2 always seems the most challenging to me. 1st gear goes by so fast I can barely think.

So what im getting from this, is either stay stock or a JWT clutch should be fine? And dont even worry about the flywheel? i dont plan on going much over 400hp, maybe 450 max. And i dont power shift ever. Im too much of a p*ssy to even try to power shift, scared ill blow up the tranny lol.

I wouldn't say that, i think everyone was assuming upgraded flywheel. I have seen several flywheels come apart including my own @50kmiles bone stock. The dual mass design can fail and allow the 2 pieces spin separately.

For 400rwhp just get the JWT clutch/flywheel combo, and it will also leave room to grow for a mild build, like i said earlier mine is currently holding 560ft-lb (may tune for more later today to see what it will hold before i switch) even with 55k miles on the clutch and its a very streetable setup.

Into 3rd? and at that power level i doubt you would have traction, maybe thats what saved you. From what ive seen all the other gears are fine and can take the abuse, 3rd is the weak link in our tranny. I know of 4-5 people who have busted a gear, all of which were 3rd.
