I got limp mode all the time with UTEC even through multiple units. It's something you pretty much have to live with. Switched to Osiris and no more limp.

Well I have a tail wastegate and the hose should be run to the port on the side, when they put it back together they put it on the top port which prevents the wastegate from opening. The mechanic was driving it when the headlifted and caused the car to go into limp mode with a 2500rpm rev limit. He said it was a hose he popped when it happened, it never occurred to me to check the wastegate

Finally got error codes for the CEL. Codes were P2135, P0605, P0304. The P0304 looks like it came up because of the excess fuel that was being poured in because the car did not want to start at first and i was getting smoke out the exhaust. I'm going to the shop to pickup a throttle body and pedal sensor to try them out.

Why don't you try the ECU reset procedure before buying a new TB? If I recall, momentarily pulling the battery won't reset it.

I'll try a manuel reset before switching a throttle body. My mechanic gave me a spare throttle body and pedal to try out. The reset shouldn't mess with the Osiris tune?

P0605 is concerning. If I were you I would redo the primary engine ground before anything else. There are two cables on the front timing covers joining to one that connects to the frame rail on the passenger side. Disconnect battery (important!), remove all three ground points, clean/sand down/grease and reinstall tightly. This will effectively reset the ECU as well. See what codes pop up after that.

Problem seems to be solved

P2135- Bad throttle body. swapped out for another throttle body and car instantly was getting throttle. Drove for about 30 minutes with a mix of cruising and getting on it and no issues.

P0605- seemed to be a lose connection on the battery which i just loosened, pulled off, and then reconnected

P0300 0r P0304- Still getting a code for it but no CEL at all. Car seems to be running fine but a Little bumpy at times. i might have a fouled spark plug. my car does run a little rich at times so it could be tune related

304 means you have a misfire on cylinder 4. if its not throwing a light, it was just pending and will go away.

Lucky about the 605. The RAM error and could be fatal. My car had a 605 error last weekend, similiar solution having to do with voltage.

Yea I'm glad it was something simple and not anything serious, just hoping I don't have to deal with the P2135 anymore

I noticed you said your z used to accelerated very slow 1k-5k rpm even with the gas pedal all the way down. How did you resolve that issue ?? I'm going through the exact same issue ..
