Performance motorsports in ny. Stay away from them!!

why don't you demand a refund. file a police report.
they stole your money. just sounds like you're hiding behind your
computer and don't want a confrontation. show up and ask for your
hard earned money back. simple as that.

Performance knows theyre wrong...but I guarantee they won't attempt to make things right ...they'll just keep trying to cover themselves and pass the blame on to someone else. I think a refund is in order

Sucks to hear you got shafted. Did you go over the details in the bill after the work was said to "completed?" If they billed you for the license and you don't have it, then you proof that you got played. Take them to court br0, or get your money back if you can...
As for your injectors, why did you wait do long to inspect them? Sounds like it wasn't important to you and that's your own neglect. I know buying another set wasn't cheap either.
In for performance motorsports side of the story or the my350z cover up...

Sorry to hear about your experience.
How did you pay them?Check, cash(probably not)credit/debit card?
Have you dealt with them before?
I always pay for this type of thing with my AMEX card. You get bad service, get screwed,
AMEX will go after the retailer and try to get it settled.
Is this company,Z1 PERFORMANCE?

Russel car was making about 300-320whp on his GReddy 20g setup with the fakeRev tune!!! When him and 350zion were doing pulls you factor in 350zion's 260lbs and his son's 170lbs and Russel was riding solo, 350zion was still pulling on him (stock block BP kit approx 382whp).
Glad that someone came thru n sorted it all out.. Russell I feel ur pain man, n I hear Wat others say about getting ur money back... As long as u spread the word I think thats enough. Move on and enjoy ur car..
IF I EVER SEE ANYTHING POSTED BY PERFORMANCE MOTOR SPORT I WILL BE SURE TO PASTE THIS THREAD IN IT!
Enjoy that car, n lets see Wat ur 1320 looks like this Sunday punk!

Actually, lgear080 has a point. It sounds like russel has had fruad perpetrated on him. Not sure if NYPD would actually go out to PM to interview them or not - they may view it as low priority. Performance shops are, for the most part, unregulated so there are no standards other than what's talked about here. However, fraud is fraud. Russel may have a case if he can lay out his documentation and step a cop through the sequence of events. For example, let's say russel charged 'x'-amount for installing 200gig hard drive. Then 2 months later the computer owner discovered that he only had a 75gig drive. Russel would either have to make it right or risk criminal action or litigation. There are NY statutes to support this. Think about it another way, if you go into Best Buy and switch containers by placing a more expensive item in a less expensive item's container, check out and pay less for the more expensive merchendise - bam! shoplifting and other bad stuff will happen. Fruad is fraud.

Glad you got things sorted out. Thanks for informing the community.
To all those saying to fight this legally (or physically), long story short it's a hopeless battle and you WILL lose.
The best thing you can do is warn the community and steer business away. Darwins theory applies to business too, they will eventually fail.

Why the hell would this man want a confrontation with anybody....
Are u that tough guy that thinks walking in to a business n flexing is gonna solve anything? Thats using ur head......
He isn't sweating the ******** money, he is informing others that PM is involved in shady business at least from his experience....
Going down there with a confrontation on ur mind is the last thing u wanna do....

Car put down 500.28whp/402.50tq.
I should've did a baseline run to see what my numbers were at prior to my actual tune. Supposedly it was at 437whp before, but that definitely was not true.
350zion and I were doing a couple pulls on the way to R/T Tuning. He was neck and neck with me the entire time and he's at 380whp.

It's funny how someone informs others on the forum of a vendor with shaddy business practices so that you can make an informative decision on weather you want to do business with them. How do you hit them with a comment about hiding behind a computer. Anyone with a little common sence would just think Wow... Let me do some searching to see what kind feedback they get on these guys if the feedback rubs you the wrong way then don't do business with them if you don't think it's a big deal then go with them, But don't knock someone for giving information that may save someone some money and a lot of headache's.
Nice write up Russell enjoy the car

damnnn...no words can express how I feel about Performance Motorsports right now. I've never been there, but always thought they were one of the top Z shops in NY. I was going to go there to get my alignment, and now I don't even want to give them business because of how dishonest they are. Guess I need to find another shop for my alignment...
Are you planning on letting this go or are you going to find a way to get your money back?
