Don't focus so much on the ET as on delta from stock. Stock did 14.3@100 (just went through all my time slips again last night) and the blown were a second faster.
Jesse said>>"That wasn't what I read. What I read is that the Sport Z Magazine driver, couldn't pull any good times with any of the SC'd Z's 13.4-13.6
So, the actual owner of the ATI procharged car decided to take a run for fun in his Z and pulled a 13.1"
Jesse, this is correct to the best of my recollection.

thats all relative to what you consider a stock time to be.......i can nail a 14.1 in a stock Z(tires too) with the VDC on, all day........and if you've ever seen Sac Raceway, it is by no means a well-prepped track.........all these runs were in summer, with summer air temps
if you go by the generally accepted rule of thumb that 10HP=1/10 of a second.......the numbers are less than accurate when you're talking about a claimed 55-60%HP gain
the test driver either had the VDC on, or he was launching at high RPM's and getting enough wheelspin to yield those goat-blowing times

My new gains are 63% at the flywheel, pretty dissam good. But a shootout with full gas tanks on 19's is well....
Well its the stuff forums are made of! lol
Because if I was there it would have been 12's but I didn't go because I assumed and I beleive it was implied all cars would be similiar and as close to stock as possible. I would have ran with my Falken 451's too. Wonder what tires they had? This is all the details worth paying for I guess. I have paid send my the E-Version please!
EJ is right. Don't blame the track the air was cool, we both ran those times N/A last year sharing a set of MT Streets on 16 in rims with aprox 246rwhp + or -, in 90 degree weather!
Sac Raceway is known to be a slow track in my circle.
I think it was the rims and the full gas tanks myself so what did they trap anyway 105?
J/K I will wait. Back to the drive train thread.

What's the elevation of this strip?
Wasn't there 1 or more stock Z's that ran a 14.4-14.6? If so, this seems accurate that 100-120rwhp more on big and heavy 19" wheels would run a second faster.
O well, who cares. I kinda like the fact that word will get out that FI Z's are slow. That way the general public won't know what they're in for when they race one.
