Default Need help with Engine

So i hang out on driver and heard there are some technical experts over here. I am in the process of a stroker build 97mm bore with arias pistons. I called arias and they recommended .026" ring end gap on the top ring and .021" on the middle. From my understanding you want the second ring the same or larger because other wise it can cause flutter. What are yalls opinions and what do you think i should go with? Thanks

I would always do what the designer of the product says. They have engineers that know what they are talking about.

I used arias specs for my engine build with arias ED pistons.

not sure. I don't do machining so i have all that done by a shop. Since i'm pressed for time i just had them file my rings for me this time. Before i used .030 but this time the shop just called arias and used the gap they told them.

That's what most competent shops are going to do: use manufacturer recommended specs. I would trust they are correct.
