The kit fits, it takes LOTS of patients when aligning the many v-band flanges, and with pieces of it cut, there was no way it was going to fit properly after that. And with it modified from its original deisgn, I could no longer assist becuase I simply did not know what had been done to the kit. PF asked for a few pics of the downpipe orientation and I sent them over 5-6 shots of our downpipe on the race car using the 3794 turbo.

But to answer some questions-

Bending the AC line is a necessity to fit the down pipe. It is pictured in the installation manual.

The downpipes are the same between the two, there are no differences.

We would not offer a promotional video, then deny it. We offered the video, we emailed them a couple times. Our Director of sales and Marketing sent this email to PF on OCT 12th with no reply-

"I will get with my film crew tomorrow to discuss, do you have a more specific date/time frame?"

Then, as reported from our sales team, they were not interested in the video when asked in the future.

Now please remind you, I am not pointing fingers at any one. It seems like there is alot of he said she said and pointing fingers, I just want to clear some of that up.

Best wishes-
Will have pictures showing what needed to be cut to make everything line up right and showing what we had to grind off the motor mounts to make the headers fit when the car is finished.

The dates for the video did not work with the customers time line so yes we declined it unless a film crew could get out by such and such date. Steven said that they would just film the next install.

Not trying to point fingers but didn't really appreciate the insinuation that the kit did not fit because we HAD to modify one pipe. Jigs are not 100% all the time. Its going to happen.

Kit is in and engine has been started.
Had to get a part from Nissan, need I say more.

Every thing looks good so far. Engine sounds great.
I will post dyno resaults when car is done.

Good luck, Hope to see a smaller single hit the 600whp mark!!! I have an gt35R with 1.06 hot side housing with 15% meth/h2o spray hit ~590s on an local dynojet. I think that you should not have problems with the GT37 hitting this power level. The nice thing about the smaller turbo is the powerband; I am at full boost ~3300rpms and make power all the way to redline. Fun for redlight to redlight runs and highway runs!!
PS:I have the Powerlab kit.

Just talked to bryan, my car is going on the dyno tommorow.
Gonna do the 91 Oct tune first, then we are going to string it out on c16 to see what the kit is capable of. 91 Oct numbers should be in by tommorow. Sorry bryan!( he wanted me to wait on this post).

I thought it would be fun to challange some of you gearheads and shop guys to see who can guess my numbers the closest.

The only power related item I forgot in my build list is jwt c2 cams.
I think!

I will start with my guesses of 585whp on 91oct and 690 on c16.
Let's keep it simple and just guess whp, no tourq.

Nice numbers, I like that kit alot, but I have had sump failers in the past ( had an sts kit) so I wanted to try to keep it simple this time...no sump or meth for me, just alittle tightly packed air!

How many miles do u have on the kit now and have u had any problems with it?

wow, pretty optimistic on a single turbo on 91 pump.

I give it 520 at best with 91 octane.

Larger twin setups (twin 18g's) are putting down high 500's with 93 octane just as a heads up....

forgot c16 guess. umm, this one is hard. I don't remember any numbers for that size singles with race gas. Most do e85. Hmm, 675.

Yeah, my tuner dosent think I will get those numbers either, I saw the gt35 kit make 525 whp at only 12 psi of boost.

Sucks I have to use 91 Oct where I live.

I have ~15000 miles on the kit , ~8000 on the stock block and 7000 on the built motor. Problems: bad weld at the wastegate pipe. I had a local welder fit it right with a couple gussets and no more problems.

I was able to hit ~500whp dynojet with the gt35r/.86 ar hotside housing on 93 0ct at 14 psi and ~526whp at 15-16psi then ran out of steam with this setup. I finally decided to upgate to the 1.06 and aem meth kit and made ~590 whp at 16-17 psi. I think the car had alittle more in it but I was happy with these results and didn't push it.

Ithink you will hit between 525-550whp on 91 oct.

wow sounds like u have ur set up dialed in perfectly.
Nice numbers on the smaller hot side too.

I know I have high hopes, but I will be happy with any thing over 540 whp.

Good info on a kit that seems to have only reviews on how nice it is boxed up until now.

if you want that continuously then run a racegas mix or e85 and you could be there. I think 91 will fall short of 540. e85 will take you past that pretty easy though. alcohol cooling is magical

Yeah I hear ya. I don't think e85 will give me the amount of extra power to ma ke it worth tuneing for, meth is just something else to worry about, so I'm gonna see what I can get from just boost first.

I think his kit will suprise some of you.

won't give ya the extra power? so far it's gained me an extra 150hp on the same setup....if that's not enough "extra" then you might as well sell the car and get a rocket ship!

I have a 6765 single turbo setup. it probably won't surprise me that much
