Default Exhaust for FI 350z help!

Hi guys,

I bought the stage 1 turnkey turbo kit from GTM for my '03 350z:

http://www.gtmotorsports.com/product...cat=258&page=1

When the kit arrived, I realised it didn't come with an exhaust haha (for some reason I thought there was one :/ )

So anyway I'm now in the market for an exhaust and I have taken quite a liking to the Fast Intentions offerings but noticed that they are only 2.5". Is this sufficient for my application? I thought 3" was the norm for FI cars. What are your thoughts fella's.

Fast intentions runs a 3" dominator exhaust that I've been looking at- I was told in my thread that 2.75" and up for duals is pretty standard. I was also told that motordyne does a 3" but not sure which one.

If you arent going for big power, 2.5" duals is enough.

I was told anything under 600 you should be okay with a 2.5 true dual

You can't post multiple same threads.

Keep your stock exhaust, get 3" downpipes, get rid of stock cats, use cut outs that are boost controlled or TPS activated to open up the exhaust at WOT. Just need a custom y-pipe made up for you by your local exhaust shop that includes hi flow cats (located after the cut outs downstream).
