Default 700hp turbo build goal

Looking to build my 2nd 350z, this one I'm shooting for 700hp. I already have my arp studs and spare block that I'll be sending to the machine shop in February. Looking towards the Garrett setup but not sure. Been looking at different build threads for what the best setup is as far as high horsepower at the lowest cost. Looking for no more than 10k in this build. Can it be done?? Any links to similar builds as what I'm looking for?

if some one else is building and installing it for you, you wont be able to do it for 10k. if your doing everything yourself you still probably wont be able to do it for 10k XD

You can always go with a big 76mm single :

https://my350z.com/forum/forced-indu...eriment-4.html

Even a single 67mm turbo on E85 would get you there. The 67mm tuner kit would be about $5150, so you have about $4800 left for injectors, EMS, clutch, fuel pump and a completely built engine. $10k would be stretching it.

+ he will need a fuel return system and headers for that much power.

If it can be done for 10k I failed horribly. I got my 700whp but it wasn't cheap.... more like 25k when it is all said and done. I have heard peolpe say take what you think its gonna cost and double or even triple it. I laughed at those statements till I started building my car. Now I'm a believer.

Didn't you learn anything from your first build?
Oh yeah, you already have your studs and a spare block!

Can it be done.. NO jtgli was the closest 700whp on a budget that has ever been done and documented and he did 90% of the build himself. That being said, his dyno was a Mustang and until he put his car on the same one mine went on and on the same day we will never know if the 700whp was truly legit (he did trap 135mph and 11.01 after a grandma launch though)and his car was a BEAST.

His build was AFTER he already had the TT kit too.

Where are the regulars when we need them If you guys want things to become all touchy feely and let every noob with some Christmas money (not directed at the OP) come in here and start a dreamer thread then thats fine.

if you buy used parts from the forums, and do most of the work yourself than maybe and thats a big maybe. If you can weld up your own turbo kit than you might just get to your goal. 600whp would be a much better goal to get to.

you can probably get to 600whp on a utec with some 760 injectors. A340 pump , build block and a Boosted performance 6765 kit, you would need a fuel system. If you build your own than you can save some $.

The key word is doing most of the work yourself.
