Default Any companys make a single turbo manifold?

I have not been on here in a long while since I sold the Z a year and a half back or so, but getting another one.

Was curious if any company made a single turbo manifold? Sorry if this is in the wrong section. In the mean time I'll be searching.

they all need a x over pipe, so what do you mean by manifold?

Sorry for a DE. Yes of course the cross over pipe. Know any companys that sell that manifold? I know there's a couple single turbo kits, but not sure if they sell that alone

Nope. There is a single turbo manifold FS in the marketplace right now though!
GTM doesn't sell single turbo manifolds, only tt mani.

The closest thing you may find is Sasha. Look up the Boosted Performance turbo kit, and ask sasha if he would be willing to part a manifold for you. You'd be much better off working with him though and buying it all together, he makes a great product and has a great design.

sasha would probably be willing to sell you his hot side piping if you contact him.

BoostedPerformance on the forums here.

so does the OP want a manifold or hot side piping? Our cars do not use a special exhaust manifold for a single turbo. Its either stock or headers. then to a crossover pipe to up-pipe. neither of which are manifolds.

That is true, I think he meant crossover/hotside piping. I know I refer to it all as manifolds, although I guess it is as wrong to do so as it is right.

But yeah OP just talk to sasha, I'd recommend buying his kit instead of fabbing your own stuff. I'm sure he'll put on nearly any turbo you want, or at least something very similar to what you want.

DE & HR use the same exhaust manifold.

Also, check this out:

Not true. The 03-06 headers have different 3-bolt flanges than the HR engines. They would not bolt up to the same down pipes/cats.

I was talking about the turbo headers. Thanks for clearing that up for people.

well, it will be somewhat cheaper if you don't count teh time you have invested.

at 4800$ and change it's pretty hard to fab up a turbo kit with as nice of welds and quality parts as sasha has. It can be done, but the money you spend (IMHO) is well worth not having to fabricate it up yourself.

when you figure in all the small stuff you need, and the time you invest it is much much more expensive(even your own time can be assigned a dollar amount) the only reason i would say to build your own is if you have specific requirements the other kits on the market dont have(say you want to somehow fit twin BW efrs or a giant bullseye batmowheel turbo somewhere). i know thats why i am building my own fuel system, nothing met my requirements.

+1 for sure

The money saved really isn't that much with some of the kits on the market these days. I know a few kits are overpriced so you could make them in half the cost but there are very competitive kits out there. In all honesty, my time is worth more than the time i would have trying to make one and i'm certain i don't have the tig welding skills that these fabricators do so it wouldn't be near as pretty.

Don't forget there are some of us that enjoy building their own cars and not just handing over a check and keys. If it wasn't for people like this alot of DIY's, mods and the beloved mid mount would not be here.
