As for reducing the # of threads like this, why not put a 100 post restriction before being able to create a thread in the general section?

That way the morons will atleast have to think about where theyre allowed to post a thread, and perhaps put it in the correct sub forum. Its not a perfect solution, but it will reduce clutter.

In the broad scheme of things...if you wanna go boosted you should have bought a different car. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to throw the Momentum kit on mine, but not without the support of a built engine which = big $$ I'd rather spend on something else. Down payment on a Nismo 370...a used Evo 8 or 9 which is plenty boost ready from the factory with that cast iron 4G63. A used S4 TT V6. Really weigh everything...realistically I KNOW if I had up around 400rwhp on a stock block I wouldn't give a damn and would be on it 24/7 and that's just me not lying to myself.

Regardless, plenty of research to be found on here before you opened up a thread. Take it as a learning experience and move forward. Best of luck.

Oh, and finish college...a nice and shiny 6 figure job isn't given out to every new graduate. Real life is going to slap you in the face and you'll be very sad when you're on here in a couple years selling 8k worth of parts to all of us for under 4k.

Superchargers are way easier to drive than turbos, especially on moderate pedal to full throttle predictability.

Turbos have a surge that is way more fun, but harder to control, and gets annoying imo.

In general turbos make more power, but ive shut them up with my 600rwhp Supercharger!

plus i made 600rwhp under 10K cant do that with turbos even on a used kit installed.

if funny how these dumbazzes have time to talk about your post and your newness to the platform and the forums or whatever.

I bet if you search these SMARTAZZes that are responding, they dont even have turbos, never had a supercharger and cant reply respond effectively anyways, but they are internet gangsters that want to respond.

Mods should band folks who post off topic, with rude comments. Once it has been posted once that the guy should search or whatever. It should be done and any further JACKAZZ comments should yeild a warning.

its a waste of space to post 80,000 times that the person should of done A or B.

come on people grow up. if you have that much time reply with a thread where you searched the topic to share with the OP.

point him in the right direction, not waste server processing time by posting waisted efforts in trying to be cool or prove that you know something about the topic.

I have had engines with 4, 6, 8 pistons, turbo GLI, Supercharged G35 and guess what!? I am not an expert! But at least I can provide meaningful post without being rude.

INTERNET GANGSTERS!

how about hitting that rev limiter once in a while? I know you dont need a turbo.

and why do you think you deserve to have a turbo on your car? Your a honda fan huh. go trade for an si you would be happier. lots of them have useless 2k turbo setups. car will go wooosh!

edit. BTW turbos are for going fast, not looking cool to your friends with red sideways hats.
good to see you watched the vid below.
400 post count expert too?

how do you know this man?

he could have a highend in the garage thus not wanting to daily drive that, bought a cheap as Z but has the itch for speed.

yall make uneducated opinions just because of a low post count.

Thats not fair and you are not showing your experience on the forums by posting crap.

again help him out by posting a link, which I have yet to see anyone do.

Im not the post police, but you all spend more time wasting by consitently posting crap.

JUST IGNORE THE POST, not encourage the 50 million kids to follow suit because you have been on here so long.

high post count doesnt mean maturity either, im just saying you can help keep down the traffic, since you have the experience? NO?

I remember someone trying to run one on a NA DSM and there were just tons of leaks. The piping wouldn't line up and the couplers were warped.

Easier to drive? You mean "foot-modulated traction control?" Not if you're not a retard. My HKS twin plate is harder to cooperate with than traction in RWD mode. Then again, I find controlling my car harder in AWD mode.

Of course, your 600rwhp in under $10k is subjective... as it'll take $1k to get me there...

I'm not an expert either, but I'm not shy enough to not tell someone something is a stupid decision. Roots-type blowers are a waste on the Z/G platform.

My remark still stands... Lol @ Stillen and Godspeed.
