I'm doing a newer set up on a built block and I'm going to run:

Cosworth fuel rails(I have a CJM Stage 0 now)
DW 800cc
DW300 pump

meth is really for people that want to tune for that and allows for more aggressive timing. I'll be happy if I can do 460whp-500whp with the new set up on 93 octane.

I'm running a HKS GT kit which is very different power delivery wise but here's mine:

CJM Stage 0
90mm pulley(8psi)
DW 600cc
Walbro 255
Uprev Tuner

I've had no problems with fuel delivery so you should be good, however what Str8dum1 had to say is SOLID advice and I would most definitely heed his words. Your tuner can scale the injectors to your build but your going to need fuel not to blow up.

My kit is 3 years old without any such issue. The first run of AAM kits 5+ years ago had that issue. If it's 4+ years old and used then yea you might have some old sh!tty lines regardless of kit.

my suggestions are just 20/20 hindsight/experience from when I had my strong vortech setup.

Its cheaper to buy parts 1 time.

AAM is a fraudulent company. Their return kit might be fine, but Charles at CJM is active member here, and official forum sponsor, offers the best customer service, and doesnt cost anything more.

I realize what you're trying to get across.....however he already has the AAM kit. It will work fine. no point in buying another...

If you are only looking for 400whp I would stay with the 3.12...you should be able to get that easily and not have to worry about belt slip issues as much and keep the blower speed down....

ahh, usually when people ask for thoughts on a setup, they dont have it yet. No sense in asking for advice on the setup when you've already bought everything....

you think with the setup i am currently running i can hit 400whp with the 3.12? or would i need more supporting mods like headers/cams/intake manifold?

Yeah we know, obviously you didn't read above.

Good question. Will a synapse perform the same as the BPV?

Baller - Greddy, HKS, ARC
Semi-Baller - Stillen

Or just DIY a mocal setup.

Vince speaks the truth about pulley choice. Assuming your tuner is as capable as Vince :P

only if he dynos on a dynapak or a dynojet. wont hit 400 on a DD or mustang with a 3.12.

The guy that said that the vortech race BPV doesnt work is a lying to you. Its works fantastically.

You cannot use a BOV off the shelf. BOV is closed under non-boost situations. A BPV is open under non-boost situations.

Quick Reply: vortech 2.87 setup(advice on setup aswell) water injection? oil cooler?
