hehe, yea bro. I know how to shop for deals.
On another subject, is it necessary to make upgrade for rev-up oil pump? ive been searching thru alot of build threads and have been seeing that item. I didnt have it on my list of parts to purchase at all.
*pics probably next week. pistons and oil pan came in mail today. waitin on rods, alll bearings and main bolts still.

The thing your broke is called an oil squirter. Make sure you replace it.
Make sure you are aware that you will have to set your valve lash if you get new cams. I forgot that part... But I got lucky and just had to move around my oem ones (checked it again today and came out just about perfect ).
Edit: I saw you got the oil squirter.
The rev up pump has increased efficiency by about 17% (higher flow/pressure) and can handle higher revs.

Got some new parts in last few days. Now I can go to machine engine shop, and get bottom end balanced. Rods, pistons, ARP main studs (not pictured) main bearings (not pictured), oil pan, & rod bearings.
will get the oil pump in few weeks. That'll probably around same time ill be able to take it to engine shop. Stage 1 of Build is over (in terms of buying stuff.)
Next:
l19s, plenum Spacer, head gasket, injectors. (if i do the bp single kit, throw in a set of headers to this list.
I wont start putting things together until all parts are bought.

Dropped my bottom end parts of to machine shop today for balancing!!
I also settled issue with injectedperformance, they gave me refund for main bearings.
the smart thing to do is wait until i have a complete engine sitting on its stand, yet im getting woo'd to take out a loan to get one those used kits in the for sale section. something keeps telling me to wait, and finish engine first, and that good deals as those will come again...but damnit! lol.
Only big money item left to buy are the L19's. and should be able to start assembly sometime early July. gotta pay bills rest of month.......no more toy buying
revup pump, main bearings, plenum spacer other lil odds ends ordered and on way.

*sigh*
so guys, i did research on the exhaust part of my build tonight, and i think i ran into a problem. On my pretty much stock 350z now, I have the Injen Hi-power Dual Cat Back. which piping is 60mm (2.36inches). IP says it's suitable for boost apps as well/
I reaaaaallly dont wana have to buy another exhaust system, so what options do i have, downpipe wise.
Would
TwinTurbos--->2.5 downpipes----> My Injen Duals
flow freely enough for 500-540rwhp range?
I see alot of builds have the aam 3' downpipes, but it wouldnt make sense to go from a big downpipe to smaller diameter exhaust, correct?
smh, just when i thought i had it all figured.

The advantage of the AAM downpipes is the open dumps. Once the wastegate opens, all the exhaust gas that is excess is vented to atmosphere and does not rely on your HKS exhaust. I am in your same situation but with a different dual exhaust. I run AAM down pipes and a ARC exhaust.
Not quite 2.5 either but no way in hell am i going to sell the exhaust.
I have a set of aam down pipes for sale if you're interested at a great price. No wait from vendor to ship. PM for details.

Update: 6/15
Machine Shop Called me today and said my bottom end was ready to be picked up. i just got them to balance it. Also I went ahead and got a Greddy TT kit. I had plans of doing the new BP single, but that doesnt go into production until later this year, but thought since i already have the engine out of the car, why not just do twins.
I have a question now. I know alot of you guys like the open dumps, but i actually think I'd get tired of my car if i had them. I want a clean Z sound under load. So if I keep the stock Greddy TT setup pictured below (random pic i found to show what im talking about. Not my picture):
For those who didnt do an Open Dump Setup, What kind of pipe would be best to connect to the part the wastegate is connected to? downpipe? test pipe?.............I will say, i have a Injen Track Edition true Dual connected after my Cats, on my car right now. which is a 60mm exhaust, so if I did a 3' pipe connected to turbo, id have have a reducer section wen it gets to the Injen.
Power Goals: DD 490whp - 520whp (Thats All )
Here is my baby, after a good wash today. Finally stopped frickin raining!
