Questions + issues w/ the Fcon and cruise/idle. Plugs keep fouling??
I have a Fcon w/ 1000cc injectors and was wondering a couple of things.
1. What controls the cruising A/F as well the idle A/F? Does the Fcon control it or the Stock ECU? It seems to run rich during both. In the mid to high twelves during both. WOT seems good though.
2. What controls the start up? Does the stock ecu control this? The car doesn't seem to be taking to well to hot starts. Sometimes it won't start when hot. If I leave it for a couple of hours it starts up. Seems like it soaks the plugs in the fuel causing it to not start or something.
3. Could cruising rich like that be the reason the plugs are fouling and possibly causing the issue with the hot starts? Seems like when I change the plugs the hot start issue isn't as great.
So w/ all this being said, what needs to be adjusted? Should all the adjustment be done on the Fcon and not on the ECU? Fuel enrichment during start up need to be taken back?

If the car were mine I wouldn't drive it until the tuning issue is sorted. You have extreme wear on cylinder walls and rings because excessive fuel washes away the oil. You probably have alot of fuel in the oil as well.
Unfortunately, not many tuners can deal with FCON since it is locked and required the tuner to have a key. To make matters worse, HKS dropped all support in the US so it's basically an expensive brick at this point.
I would suggest if you have the funds to get a Haltech, or if you're on a tight budget go with something more basic like Uprev Osiris. With either, make sure your tuner knows what he's doing and sets you straight.
