Ok Just a few quick questions before I finalize this
Im going to be running about 6 psi on a GT35 w/ anti surge just on the wastegate spring.
As for oiling I am thinking of running a seperate trunk tank of about 2-3 quarts with an inline oil pump for feed and oil pump for return, will an external cooler be necesarrY?
I figure with the size of the GT35 and the fact its under the car the temps shouldnt get to crazy...
I dont have crazy power goals but a few main questions
1
How will I deal with crankcase pressure? Any links will be very helpful..I absouletely HATE crank case pressure and it has caused me many problems on my past turbocharged projects...
2
What fuel mods will I need, are larger injectors sufficient? Any links to tried and true ones will be godlike
3
6 Psi on a Gt35 should net me around 400whp Correct? I am shooting for daily drivability and RELIABILITY!!!

1. crankcase pressure should not be an issue, even with the stock PCV system. not sure why you had such a problem with it in the past ![dunno](https://my350z.com/forum/images/smilies/dunno.gif)
2. you will need injectors and fuel pump at the bare minimum
3. boost is just the measure of the amount of air not getting into the engine. if you have an efficient setup, you'll make 400whp easily.
Why a gt35 though, they use that small of a turbo on 2L hondas.

Let me know if you need fuel support. I have 550cc, 750cc injectors with pigtails (plugn' play), and 340lph fuel pumps available. Gives you a lot of room to grow if you decide to take that route.
You will also need this with your fuel pump:

too much injector only if you have a retard tuning the car. My 2000ccs run like stock. my 1200s were even easier to dial in.
but since you want cheap as possible, , ya just buy any ebay turbo, ebay wastegate, and BOV and it wont even matter.

Ebay turbos are more than sufficient, Ive ran them plenty of times...
Cheap doesnt mean shitty, It means being a smart buyer. I usually buy an Ebay knockoff of a garret and get the 190$ GARRET rebuild and vwallah, garret turbo for 320$
600cc's sound perfect for my application, just a walbro and the adapter that was posted earlier??
Im going to tune via OSIRIS uprev tuner, Ive heard good things
As for the oiling issue on the turbo, I was thinking of running a standalone tank with 2 inline pumps to keep the oil flowing...but my question is will a oil cooler be necesarry? I figure a turbo of that size + the fact its under the car I shouldnt..
what are your thoughts??
as for turbo size Im aiming for a garret so I can get a knockoff
do you truly believe that a rear mounted GT35 is to small? That doesnt make sense to me its a fairly large turbo compressor and inducer wise... It seems that alot of the comments that are being made are from forum sheeple,
Im only aiming for about 400whp and I will be happy as long as its reliable ..
Ive kinda got my eyes on a precision PT6776HPS its only a grand and its a nice turbo...similar to GT35 any thoughts?

If you want true reliability don't turbo the Z.
If you want more reliability, don't "cheap out" on main parts of the kit.
Blowing a cheap turbo may not be expensive, but messing up the motor is a bit more. Especially when you could of spent a few extra hundred dollars on something from get-go.
Just my .02
Just like str8dum1 said, my ID2000's idle like stock as well

i run 1000's with no issues what so ever idles great fires right up with a tiny bit of feathering. why do you ask for advice then try and tell some one who is experienced in the matter off? for your power goals a 1000cc set up may be a tad big but i wouldnt go any smaller than 850's. with the tuning options available theres no reason not to have some head room
