Default Another Bp single turbo kit!

So I have been planning to boost my z for a while and i finally pulled the trigger and ordered it. I emailed Sasha asking alot and it was like instant replys everytime! I just recieved the kit this week, so no its not on the car yet Just figured I would go ahead and start a thread. Im waiting for my clutch and headers to get in. I will start on Friday with install and hopefully tune early next week at Dynosty with Hal. Hal has helped me out a great deal also! Both him and Sasha are GREAT! I went with the precision 6266 .81. I dont think many have this turbo. I will post tons of pictures! I will also be dragging, autocrossing and drifting the car with this kit so plenty of videos will be up! Also for some that are concern about your car being low and this kit scraping i will beable to tell you if it scrapes or not, my sits pretty low. Im also gonna be on a stock block so Im limited to around 500hp on a dynojet. I hope Hal can put me right around 450whp on a dyno dynamics. I went with a Haltech ecu, dual widebands and haltech boost solenoid. Also the quality of this kit is amazing! Everything is labeled! Its also great how good the customer service is also! Heres a pic of my car to show how low it sits. Sasha said I will have no problems with the kit scraping! I was very concerned before ordering.

That's something u talk to boosted performance about on this forum. I'll tell u though with the clutch and flywheel, gauges, bigger exhaust and tune im spending around $8k mayb a lil more. Everything is paid for just gotta save that extra $700 for a tune now

Looking forward to tuning this, especially with the 6266. Your clutch is shipping out today. See you soon!

what clutch did you go with?

glad to see another BP kit out there. It won't scrape. I'm not sure why nobody listens to me or sasha when we say it won't. I have 3" of ground clearance at the cross member and have no problems anywhere in the city or out in the country on dirt roads. Only thing that scrapes is my front bumper.

Who told you this? Is this a new benchmark now for a stock block?

I'm gonna be the troll here and come out and say there is no benchmark on any build really. All depends on tune, and how you drive the car. I'm sure 450whp could be plenty reliable for some drivers and for others 400whp would be sketchy.
I just don't like it when people say XXXwhp numbers is "Safe" or "dangerous" because that's totally subjective to so many variables it's pretty much useless.

I'm really ranty today... Time to log off lol

Jwt clutch. Yeah I'm not worried about it scraping at all.
It's all about the tune.....

its not really about the tune when you are at the mechanical limits of rods....

/\ I understand there is so many variable here and a 350whp wont last either if you redline the dam thing every second you drive it. But I've been here for a while though I haven't spent enough time lately, the advice most tuner will give their customer is to stay below 400whp. I know some here personally who ran their car in the mid 400whp without a problem but still I never hear any tuner here or vendor that recommend to run 500whp on their stock block.

what injector size are you using? I suggest at least 750's. 450whp kinda gets old faster than you would think.
