Looking for feedback any boosted who went from 3.5 to 3.3 rear end
Hi All
I know this is a drivetrain question but I figured I would only find others who have done what I have after going FI.
I'm hoping to get some feedback from others who have boosted their power and decided to move down to the 3.3 rear end.
I'm making about 500ft/lbs with a TT setup and I am about to upgrade to Quaife diff. I've considered it for a while and want to hear what others have to say.
The plan is to autoX occasionally. I know going from the 3.5 to 3.3 would take a little torque away but being able to stay in gear slightly longer/have slight higher speed seems like a nice trade off to me.
Thanks for your time!

I run the exact setup and loved it... both statements above are solid

Been discussed to death. Try a search smart guy.
Short answer , I am about at the same TQ level on 6MT, now running 3.3 Quaife . One of the best upgrades I've made.
On a single GT35R
-fourth is my sweetest passing gear. 65 to 100 happens in a flash.
- third , i just haze if tires are not really warm
- fifth takes a little more patience.
I simply adjusted to which gear is right for the job after swapping.
