i'll ride in the rain if i'm not heading somewhere important. I had to give up riding the sportbike daily due to the fact that i'm in clinic attire 90% of my life now. I did take a cruise from indiana to jacksonville florida a few years ago. When we hit georgia it rained the entire ride through georgia......uncool 6 hours on the freeway.

I guess the 23000 miles of daily usage on my car is just stupid then lol. Well if we are talking gas mileage it is stupid because 12mpg is the average for how I drive to work and home.

Lol I know I'm not actually getting 30 miles to gallon. Butt it makes me feel better when my car lies to me and tells me it is haha. My gas Milage sucks ***** but that's not what I have the car for either. That's what Hondas and other economy cars are for.

I use my gas economy gauge to tell when i'm being good vs naughty. '23 mpg' is naughty...more like 12-14, '34-38' means near 20...sometimes I see "40" if I keep it under 15 in/hg and **** off traffic.

I had to dump some fuel quickly before a track date and clocked an impressive 10mpg by staying in 4th/5th at freeway speeds and touching boost every time I changed lanes. Almost burned too much haha.

That said, with a good tune and driving habit your MPG's should be close to stock. I see >25mpg on long trips and 15-18 around town.

All of this is out of the window if your tune or driving habit isn't appropriate for the results you are expecting.

if you have different size fuel injectors or different fuel pressure from stock thats wrong. its doing the same thing as the guage and calculating it based on fuel injector pulse width.

With upgraded injectors the cars ecu guage is useless. Mine was fairly accurate with stock injectors and my stillen +-2mpg. But with the 600's its saying im getting 24mpg but its really only 16 city (having fun) and 21 highway at best.

What are your guy's RPM's at in 6th crusing at 75mph? Ive always thought mine were high. My trucks automatic runs about 1k lower than my Z.
