Injected
Injected Performance closed last year, and I believe they sold the web store to a place in Texas. We have had a number of calls from frustrated Injected customers with similar stories - unable to get answers or info after placing orders online. We are not associated with the Injected web store.
Dynosty is active in the community, turning out builds and supporting the products we sell. We would appreciate your business by calling 502-384-8882 or emailing sales@dynosty.com. No web store currently, but we are working on a solution for that. Thanks!

This is Greg, I do not have access to the new operation's phone system. It is clear that you have issues with me, as you have for some time. The new owners will be taking over this account very soon. I am not going to get into the issues between Hal and myself.

You're damn right I have issues with you Greg. Your lies and deception delayed me from getting the parts I needed for my project for almost 6 months. I've kept silent about it on the forums all this time. But since you had the audacity to jump in here and "go there" with me, here it is for everyone to see...

I am still waiting on our original manufacturer to get me the starter rings, but they are slow as well. Seems like everyone is on vacation and can't seem to get back to me. I will PM you Monday with a better response, just wanted to give you some type of update.
Greg
OK Thanks. Do you have an approximate time frame, if all goes well?

Great! Glad you got it! Thanks Greg.
IF it will work?
I thought a JWT starter ring would work with your orginal design specs...

OK That's great news!
Han said he has a JWT flywheel laying around at the shop that could be used as a donor. So I guess we can send that to you and the issue is resolved.

OK cool. I discussed the matter Wednesday night with Han at Intense. He mentioned the JWT flywheel and wondered if the starter ring could be used off of that.

OK Thnx for the info. I'm assuming I need to look for an auto trans Z for this starter ring? Or is the starter ring the same regardless of transmission?

Needs to be the larger of the two ring gears, I believe 12.75" compared to 12", should have 124 teeth (not the 120 teeth), and came in the VG30 single overhead cam 300zx.
Hope that helps. Let me know if you have better luck than I did, I got discouraged after the third junk yard sent me the wrong one, and decided to try and move forward with a new design.

Hopefully you will have better luck than I do as far as the starter ring. If I can get a hold of that, then I can complete the older design fairly quickly I believe. I would need to talk to my CNC but he still has all the parts to do the old run. I will PM you tomorrow with the info I have on the old measurements.
Greg
Sorry to hear about your back problems. I can relate due to back pain issues I experienced in 2008. I hope it gets better.
Unfortunately, I don't have any alternative solutions at this point. Even though my G is an '06 non-rev up (auto trans), the built motor I bought came from an older Z, '03 or '04 I think.
Is it not possible to use an older used starter ring from a junkyard donor (before Nissan changed and discontinued the part)? This is the point I'm having difficulty understanding. I know that won't be the resolution for a revised production version that you would like to currently make/sell and that you still need to find a suitable parts source for a new starter ring. But wouldn't that solve my immediate need? Wouldn't your original version of the flex plate with an old donor starter ring still work for my application? If so, I'm willing to pay for you guys to make me one rather than wait for you guys to sort out your next production version. Is this possible?

"Injected get's anything and everything regarding this swap from us, not sure if they tried to mock up their own and it's not working, but there's no reason why this swap shouldn't work for you."
You gave the impression that the GM trans adapter parts were always your own in-house design. Both during discussions on the phone and via PM, you referred to your CNC guy having the parts and specs for the "old design". You never once mentioned VTR.
Needless to say... I'm really pissed and disgusted. Sound Performance did the honorable thing and referred me to you when they couldn't provide what I needed for this trans swap. Yet I didn't received the same courtesy and honesty from you with regards to VTR. If VTR truly was your parts supplier for this swap and you knew they could provide the needed parts immediately, you should have done the right thing and referred me to VTR instead of giving me the runaround for almost 6 months and unnecessarily delaying my project.
