not sure how my south bend single compares to others but it helps a decent amount with engagement, although i have the one before the longer threads for the clutch rod so i can only get a extra 25% on the new clutch max. effort wasnt bad at first but the more i drive it in traffic on base the more i want to drive my wifes focus when in stop and go traffic >.< my left leg is gona be twice the size of my right.

my clutch is also rated at 800 ft lbs but never driven the multidisk setups so cant compare.

Jerry, I'll shoot you one of the newer Rev 2.1 AFP Sliders on Monday to help you out with that. Get the AFP setting back up to 50-60% with your South Bend and you definitely won't want to drive the wife's Focus anymore

Yes, the 03-08 Z all use the same RJM Rev2.1 Clutch Bracket sets. In the begining there was some major confusion if these would fit the 07-08HR Z's or not because of the transmission changes and new CSC but as it turned out they do fit that application as well. Nissan didn't change the bracket design at all until the introduction of the 370Z when everything changed completely.

You need a new clutch......mine slips at 5,000rpm in 4th I shouldn't have cheaped out in the first place I knew the twin clutch wouldn't hold the power cheap cheap cheap

Anyway lets talk this winter.

Actually it really comes on hard at 5,000rpm and makes power right to 7,500 I was even going to set the limiter to 8,000 but once again I pussied out.

I was looking at M5s but I think I might buy my wife a new vehicle and drive her Altima SE-R as my daily My current daily is a 2010 Sierra crew cab 4x4 with a 6.2L I recently got it tuned I can't leave anything stock
But with 1/2 the cash I put into this thing I could likely have a damn fast M5. I would just do wheels, lower it add a CAI and exhaust I told my wife that... She called me out on it before I even finished the sentence she knows me too well

Thanks man. Yeah, there is absolutely no room for anything. It especially sucks when you need to change something lol.

Lol, I know man. I was just giving you a hard time! Mine feels about the same way. I always shift early though, It scares me lol. Have to get used to it first!

Haha, it's hard to keep cars unmoved. Especially if you're just browsing and find something that would just absolutely make it better :P

I am trying to not do anything to my DD. Luckily it's nothing special so it wouldn't be that much fun to mod ha. Yeah right! Just those little mods to the M5??! At least your wife knows it's BS too!! Hahaha.

BTW, you should sell me your PMu's as well

Evey thing works on the motor just fine now, so I would not do anything to the cylinder heads. That just invites trouble and you're going to part it all out. Just saying...

Please enlighten us on how getting the heads ported & polished will "invite trouble" and will lead the OP to "part it all out"?
