Default Z-1 Auto NY is a Thief

Dear Members,

i have been a member on this forum for sometime, and moved to different places and now settle in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. prior to moving from San Diego, i was working part time in my own business shipping customer abroad (cars, parts, any thing involved with automobiles)

now that i have my own business in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. (MAS TUNING) i am a dealer for many companies and i am thankful for where i have reached.

close to two years ago i dealt with Adam for a customer of mine that wanted wheels and other parts.

when payment time was needed, i gave him my AMEX and placed the order. two days later he said it didnt work something with their department wasnt working and so on.

So i did a wire transfer, the next day (total of 6,300 US Dollars) a month went by and next thing i know i got the same charge on my AMEX. I contacted Adam and he said it was a mistake and they will reverse the charge.

well, as I stated for the last two years i have been getting the run around. all this because i am over sea's?

how can a vendor do such an ethical act such as this, all the time telling me my finances and every day was a bunch of lies and excuses.

i have been more than patient with Adam and i proposed payment plans for him, everything has been dicussed over and over yet I simply cant wait any longer, and my AMEX bill states the charges and i have the wire details as well.

i have no choice but to do this, there is not much more i can say except that Adam you are a Thief!

Regards,

Sultan Hassan

I recently just bought some things from Z1Auto and got the run around. It was by no means $6300 but still don't plan on ordering anything from them again. I shouldn't have to remind a company to give me a tracking number or any update for that matter. One more thing, they almost shipped my package to a completely different address.

i have been disconnected from online forums for a while, this A-hole Adam is simply a low-life.

there is such a thing call karma, it may not come tomorrow or in years. but maybe in the worst part of your life, you will be slammed and drowned by lifes penalties of what you have done.

Why didn't you contest the charge on your credit card?

as a shop owner myself, i know when times are tough. even though i would never do that to anyone. but being that a well known shop to do this was not in any way what i would have thought.

also for those of you not married, damn its wipes your mind as new responsibilities dont seem to stop

Wow!
I believe there have been other negative posts regarding Z-1 Performance.
I've not bought anything through this company.I have had contact requesting
info/pricing on several items.Each time I got a arrogant/surly answer that
some find stereotypical to NY/NJ.
One thing, this has been mentioned before.Do not confuse Z-1 Performance with
Z1 MOTORSPORT.The guys at Z1 MOTORSPORT are 1st class in all they do.

Bottom line on this kinda stuff,"what goes around, comes around".
Don't buy from this jerk.

Fool me once shame on me, fool me twice shame on you.

Adam has done this "accidental" charge to several customers before and using the same excuse. Most of them are out of the country too. Coincident?!
Even to the customers who cancelled their order a few years back

This is a disturbing trend and I feel bad for those international buyers who didn't see the Z1 threads and just buy base on their good reputation in the PAST.

I placed an order with them, got the run around and cancelled immediately cause I do not like to play the waiting game. They have my cc # too and I thought about changing my card when I read these "accidental" charges Adam did in a couple of different threads but didn't. After reading your thread I'm changing my card today b/c I simply do not want to go through the hassle.

wannabuy350z, GL with your issue and thanks for the heads up!

I don't think they have been a vendor on here for some time now. I got the run around when I purchased my wheels. Used bank check so they couldn't charge anything but what I gave them. I did get a refund though. You should take this a step further instead of just posting it on the forum.
