Sound Performance
Miraculously the first time I called to place a diff brace order someone answered but said I had to talk to Reid who wasn't there. Fast forward 2 weeks and 5 calls later I can't get ahold of anyone at all.
Furthermore, their website has an expired SSL certificate (over a year expired). I placed an order anyways figuring if they had my money I might get their attention. Still haven't gotten any confirmation (nor charge on the card) and my followup call this morning was unanswered.
Not feeling good about this, which is strange because I thought they had a good rep here. I know I'm a small guy, but I can't imagine having a big build with them and they can't even pick up the phone or return voicemails...
Anyone close to anyone there know what's going on?

Sound Performance is a good group. I've talked to reid multiple times. My transaction (7175 turbo) was smooth but quiet. I didn't know if they were even going to go through with it at one point, but they did great.
They have great products, and a great reputation for a reason. Just a small shop though.

I've been there plenty of times. When they're all in the shop and the phone is in the office, sometimes they just aren't going to be able to pick up. Try back a little later (or around lunch) and you'll get a hold of them. They've always been able to help me out and do an amazing job with tuning.

I forget Reid's schedule but he was only working so many days a week because of school. Those guys can get you anything, I found email is the best way to contact them for parts. But yeah they don't have a big crew and always on the shop floor.

Nice to see being busy = acceptable to not communicate AT ALL with a guy leaving messages on all lines. No one is too busy to at least answer the phone and say "give me a day"
This is why we are a community of pushovers and slow cars. We settle for everything but the best.

I understand SP helped YOU out, this is not the same experience Randy is having. IMO, Kyle at IPP is the gold standard (Z1 being not far behind, never done business with Dynosty or Forged, but hear good results from them as well). You place an order with IPP and you know what is going on with it ever step of the way. In today's age of instant electronic tracking there is no reason for vendors to not provide information unless they are trying to be the owner/manager/parts guy/mechanic/tuner/fabricator all at the same time.
