I have an 03 z with a stillen stage 1 setup. Did the install myself with the help of a friend. It was tuned at JE Import Performance. I had it for a couple months and it ran great, but now it won't crank. Any ideas or has someone had similar issues?
Do you hear any ticking when turning the key? Is everything else dead in terms of there being no power? Were you having any issues what so ever leading up to this? Have you experienced extended cranking time recently? Any check engine lights? Need a little bit more information... What are you using for a EMS?
^^lol where does this info. come from please do tell..and keep telling yourself that if it helps..not something id go bragging about
stock vortech setup is pretty weak too but at least it has potential

I'm giving you all the info I know. I pcs'd and didn't have all the proper papers to ship the car, so a friend of mine is getting it ready for me. I'm trying to get more info from him but because of the time difference and work schedules it's tough to get a hold of him. I appreciate the help so far though

Ok, it does crank. The fuel pump went out and was replaced with a walbro. After that was replaced, the car started fine and was allowed to run at idle for about 15 minutes. He let the car sit for a few days, needed it for work so he got in, now cranks but won't start. I don't know if maybe its an ecu issue or something simple that I'm just not seeing.
Sounds like the battery is dead now. If it was weak to begin with leaving it sit for a couple of days could kill it. Also he may have left an interior light or the headlights on. put a meter on ur battery and see what you get
If it cranks fine then it is either bad connections to the cam or crank sensores for the black box or the box went belly up.When i went stage 4 years ago my stage 4 black box died and it cranked easy...so until stillen sent me a new one i used the stage2 box.
