so i bought a turbonetics kit one of the last versions they make long story short i was gonna run this with like 6 psi...cause i dont want to blow my motor...i talked to zfever and they said they can tune my car with osiris and it would be safe....but i still am afraid because it is my daily driver.....honestly im not gonna beat on it i just want it to show off kinda and look cool at the local meets......im a ***** i know so should i or not

I agree. It's your DD, just get a supercharger kit and be done with it. They're known to be easier on cars than TCs and depending on the kit, require less maintenance and are generally cheaper, easier install. Sure you may put down lesser numbers but again it's your DD. Where you gonna go on the streets where you want to let the turbo open up? With SC the power's always there, good for the streets imo.

The Turbonetics kit is inferior to the other turbo kits on the market and therefore is not very respected within the VQ community. So it definitely wouldn't be the best choice for the stated purpose of showing off or looking cool at meets.

so i bought a new turbo today for the kit i need a more of a reliable turbo and by reading the threads the turbonetics ones always blow.....talked to my mechanic and hes said for cheap he would redue the piping into bigger piping so i was happy about that ...so yes the kit is going in i called many places today and they said with low boost the car will be more then fine.....so i now i need a tune drop it and puts some wheels and im done

Here's what I'm gonna do. I'm gonna get a PL Kit and install it WHEN I have the money saved back to rebuild the engine, just in case. That's the way to go about it, imo. If you don't have the money set back to rebuild your engine, then you shouldn't be messing with FI.
