Have you seen the forum rules?

All good, the problem is the area you live in will greatly influence your price - so it's hard to come up with an actual number.

Some people will likely with disagree with me, but I would pay less for a modded Z (even a TT) than a fully stock car, so keep that in mind.

good luck with that. only dealers pay more for stock cars over modded

LOL right...

Why do so many guys rebuild back to stock when its time to sell their cars then? You don't know who did the mods and/or how the car was abused.

They put it back to stock because you get more money that way than to just simply sell it as a whole. When you "part" a car out you have individual parts for individual buyers. When you sell a car as a whole, the potential buyer would have to LIKE the car a lot in order for the seller to get the most out of his money.

You're telling me you'd pay $20k for a nice stock nismo and $18k for a pretty much stock nismo with TE37 SL's and a Motordyne TDX2 catback?

hmm.. technically ANY stock looking Z may have been a bused at one point. how would you know honestly. and just because people have mods on their cars does not mean they abuse it.

no matter what sports car it is, the performance of it will always be tested. This is a known fact when buying a modded or stock "sports car"

how much whp?? not that impressive for a turbo/ supercharge and GT35R engine .. I've seen better with only built engine and vortech supercharger.

I agree with you - however, if a car is modified to run a 1/4 mile in 10seconds, chances are, that is what it was used for and it has been beaten pretty hard.

I should have been more clear, I'm referring to F/I. Call me stupid, but I'd rather pay $20K for a N/A Z than $18K for F/I Z (the $2000 saved could end up being a lot more in repairs).

Obviously I'd go for the mods you stated above. However, when it comes to F/I, you never know if it was done right. I just watched Vinny Ten's video in the media section and it sort of touches on what I'm getting at. If someone doesn't have the cash or isn't realistic with what they want things can go very wrong, very quickly. As a used buyer, you are taking a much larger risk going F/I in my opinion.

Again, this is just my opinion though.

you'll see a lot more parting out, but i know some people dont want to deal with the hassle of shipping and dealing with a bunch of people, i think somewhere right around $20k is all you'll get unless you are really lucky and find someone with pockets ridiculously loaded.

Depending on what your priority is, sell whole car or take time to part it out. You did extensive work with the twin charging and I am sure someone here will buy it from you.

Stay safe in Afghanistan, and thank you for your service.
