I am about to do the greddy TT install myself and have been reading for weeks about people who did it themselves and what a horror it is, as far as tolerances are with fitment. For those of you who have done the install yourself with the engine in, would you do it again or would you pull it? My only concern is I would have to borrow a engine crane and I didnt really want to bleed off my AC system. Thanks in advance
I am in the same situation, bbs350z will be helping me with my install. But we decided to remove the engine to make things easier, and because I am upgrading the clutch at the same time

yea, I was debating on changing the clutch. I know I will need it in the future, but for now I just want to run low boost off the wastegate springs(5psi) for around 400 or so hp and see what happens and save the $1000 until I really need it. I only have 40K miles on it and I have read mixed posts about it. Some say its fine under 400 and some say it wont depending...we will see.

You are probably looking at 340-350ish whp at 5.8psi......I made 347 @ 5.8 psi with the GTM stage 2 TT on an HR.....
I have had to re-do almost my entire install that a shop did and it is a major pita to get at the turbos, manifolds and downpipes with the engine in.......
My .02 > pull it and swap the clutch at the same time. OS Giken is the way to go......
The stock clutch won't last very long at 350rwhp. Replace it while everything is out. The JWT clutch is a good option to go with as well. I made 349rwhp on 4.9lbs with a 18G kit.

Yea, I like the jwt, good price and good product. I think I will try and do the clutch as well. It would really make sense to do while its out. Ill just have to save a lil bit more before I pull it.
