This Blower is Designed to turn CCW, Look at the Picture!

Can you tell the Direction? Looking at the Gear Case tells you nothing about rotation. You need to look at the Blower Side.

Cux350z, you make this very confusing for yourself.

Vortech only makes a CW and a CCW.

Focus you're attention to the Blower Side, not the Gear Side.

Dude I get that the Impeller is turning CCW. That was easy to determine without your 2 posts and just by looking at the volute/impeller shape.

What do you not understand about what I am asking? There is a input shaft..that is the direction that matters for the 350z application that could be different from say a mustang application. Key word INPUT.

I was try to help you.....

My IMPUT to you is, Josh has the correct Blower, it's a CCW.

Hope this helps you. Maybe re-read my last post in reguards to the Imput (Shaft) side or gear case side of the Blower.

Played with this 4" intake. Had to trim some more and make adjustments. But the way the filter will be located, will be in direct airflow. The piece of piping on the end represents the filter I ordered. Still waiting..

Finally got it all together and running. Everything seems to be doing pretty good. I'm seeing 17 psi at redline. Figure it's a bunch of slip. Haven't tightened down belt yet. But it pulls hard and more you rev it, the more it wants. Still waiting on my piping so I can go 3" on blower side.

Thanks, wish it wasn't raining so I could take her for a spin. Finally got my bumper mounted up. Had to cut it up a little bit. Still a tight fit but it's on. My piping also came yesterday. Will be doing that next week sometime. Also I found out I forgot to put a clamp on brake booster port on the cosworth. Might have been loosing a little boost out of that. I'll take it for a ride soon and find out.

Does the YSI feel any different than the old blower or does it still pull the same?

Truthfully it feels the same, but I've been running it on my traction map. Haven't changed maps yet. And I'm only hitting 17 psi instead of the 22-24 I was normally seeing on the street. I'm sure there is a ton of power to be had with this beast.

On my ti trim I seen 3psi with filter on at 3000 rpms. I'm seeing about 3.8 at the same rpm with this blower. Haven't really logged anything yet to compare but that's one thing I did notice. Also I was hitting 17 psi at 6400 on the ti. Now it's taking me to 7200 to hit it. I think I might of had a couple boost leaks, so I'm gonna go test it out again to see after the rain stops.

Was able to put some miles on the blower. Runs pretty good and pulls great. Still seeing 17psi. Haven't touched the belt tensioner on it. Just wanted to drive it. Getting ready to finish up my piping coming off the blower. Friend is on vacation right now. Gonna finally remove my maf sensor and install GM temp sensor. Still changing up some pulleys soon. Trying to work out a deal with Cux for his ATi crank pulley. Try to spin this this ysi a little harder.

Here is a pic from last night that Taywan took at a friends shop.
