Does anyone know who makes the intercoolers for vortech? I have been waiting a while for my v3 charger but keep getting told they are waiting on the intercooler to be sent from another company. Anyone else ordered a supercharger recently?

After an email to treadstone I can confirm they do not.
I will try spearco now unless anyone else has an answer?

The spearco intercooler that comes with the Vortech kit for the Z/G35 is part# 5-374

Thanks for the offer but my problem is that I have been waiting quite a long time for my supercharger (over three months but most of that was due to assaultech wasting my time and holding the money and not passing it onto vortech.) I have been told by vortech they are waiting on the intercooler being made, but just wanted to check out their story as time is getting on a bit.

I have emailed turbonetics (parent company to spearco) to ask if they make the intercoolers for vortech and if they have a time scale for parts being produced.

thats what comes with the vortech.

 

.... that does look like the one supplied by vortech (going on pictures from other peoples cars).
I wonder why they say they do not supply them to vortech?

^ yep, the vortech intercooler is the spearco 5-374. the turbonetics ST intercooler is the spearco 5-312.

No Problem. If you like, ask them to ship you the system and backorder the IC and ship it once it's available. I can send you mines to get the install started. Once you get the IC from them just ship that one to me. This is way you don't have to wait much longer. Let me know. I'm willing to help out!

 

Another great idea and thank you, but I am unfortunately across the pond here in the UK so will pass as shipping is expensive.

Had an email back from turbonetics confirming they "did" make the intercooler. Not sure if that means they no longer do or if it was just poor grammar. I have sent another email asking what time scale they have to make them.
