I originally posted this on driver, but I see a lot of Vortech owners (including myself) that are on a quest for this mythical piece. I know there are a bunch of threads in many forums in regards to this with most of them ending up with, "have one custom made".

Sometimes they are spotted in the market place, but lately sightings have been very seldom.

There have been rumors of these being massed produced again, but I have yet to find it to be true and some even say Vortech used to supply this with their kits long ago.

I also have posted WTB threads in both Driver and My350, with no luck. Most of the replies are others simply stating they would like one as well.

There has to be someone out there that either knows where to get these, has access to the jig or can make one to get these into production again. I do believe the demand is there...

I've included some pictures for reference in hopes to gain some ground with some help, so if you have any input, I know I myself along with others would be grateful As always, thanks guys!

 

Heres another one of the posts you don't want.... just have one custom made. This is a very simple piece to make any fabricator worth their weight in gravel should be able to make this for you any day of the week. The MAF adapter is not exactly complicated. I could go to my local engineer and have it done tomorrow (except its Saturday) for pocket change.

 

As the days go by I am leaning more towards that route anyways. I did find this MAF flange for $40 from UpRev.

I am deployed until mid-April so if I can find a used one or find someone who is making these for myself and others that want one then its a bonus. Worst case I will have one made when I return home. No worries there as I totally understand the simplistic design.

I just came across a lot of people in the same boat as me and countless WTB threads spanning 3+ years, so I figured what the heck...

Coz over at CZP said he could start making them, but just needs one for a template.

 

I couldn't find one either and looked for almost a year. Now just trying to see if I can have someone modify an ARC intake tube to fit.

 

Spoke with numerous vendors. Some said they would look into it. Coz over at CZP said he could make them, but needs one as a template. Seeing how I do not have one...

There's talk of some being made next month through some members on Driver. I'll keep on with the updates.
