Any one using gt28rs twins turbos and getting turbo lag? No real power from the car till about 4500 to 5k

Put up a boost curve. 5AT or 6MT and which turbo kit? You should not have lag to 5k with GT28s... Full boost on JWT 700bbs by 3.5k or so on street, but on dyno my 5AT would not peak until 4.5k rpms because TC would not lock until then.

I have the gtm twin hr turbo kit ,and its a 6mt trans gtm did the install and dynoed it, Sam showed me the tune and all look very good , i dont have a graph to post up , i wish i did .but lag for the power to kick in really sucks the gt28rs turbos have the .86 hot sides

Could be wastegates opening early? Have you asked Sam?

Should not have lag on those. Maybe a leak on either cold side or exhaust side causing extra time to build pressure. Twin gt30 setups spool sooner than 5k

I have twin GT3082r and they dont lag that bad. I would have your mechanic look over everything. What exhaust and cams you running?

Cams are stock and ex is test pipes all stock 2 1/2 in with a 3 in ele cut out Lil after the test pipes

you should be seeing full boost by 3500 with those little guys on there. i was with my 2871's with the .86 hotside when i was stock block

thats way too laggy, even if they were GT2876's. thats like my powerband and I have 10mm bigger turbos
