Hey guys, I just finished installing a turbo kit on my Z, however there was a mix up and I got the wrong pump. Could I run the car with the stock pump for now? not boosting or anything, I already have 550 cc injectors and osiris map for them loaded on the car.

I would wait until you get the fuel pump. Shouldn't take more than a couple days to get it shipped. Worst case scenario buy one locally then go return the one that comes in the mail

The fuel map might be different but in vacuum the car will make o2 corrections so it should be ok. Definitely no boost.

I, however, wouldn't want to waste my time taking apart the fuel basket then having to do it all over again a few days later.

 

Thanx for the info guys I have driven the car at vaccum and drives good A/F is in the 14s on around 18% load. Sasha and Vince helped me get the car running smoothly. Pump should be in next Thurs and I will be tuning on the 20th provided everything goes as planned.
