Default GTM stage 1.5 supercharger

I was just wondering if anyone on here has the stage 1.5 upgrade? I'm thinking about doing it, just curious on some things about it..

Hard to say, my transmission was slipping when I had the tune adjusted for the 1.5 kit after I installed it. Once my tranny is fixed I'll run it again and let you know what the new numbers are.

Still running the 600cc injectors (the upgrade does not include the 650cc ones they recommend)

I see about ~9lbs with the 88MM pulley on the street.

Is yours an auto or manual? I'm running 10psi right now (I'm guessing 80mm pulley) but my 600cc injectors are maxed out, their at 97% duty cycle. It put down 432hp with a little 100oct. How much did yours put down before the upgrade and do you think you maybe gained 40whp? I'm just trying to debate whether it's worth it or not..

Auto

Stage 1 put down 404whp/320wtq before my transmission became really inconsistent

This is on pump/92 with a custom tune from a local tuner.

You are probably running the 84MM pulley, I think this is the smallest they offer/make for the stage 1.

I'd say 40-50 WHP increase is probably there and maybe a little more torque but until I get my tranny squared away and the car back on the DJ I've been using I can't provide hard numbers.

Last time I asked Mike for other customers running the 1.5 on a HR he didn't have any other than the shop car. Ping him and see if this has changed.

Me being selfish and wanting a point of comparison I would say "upgrade!" but honestly, if I could do it all over again I would have probably just started out with the stage 2. Once you get used to the added power you quickly want more...

yeah I know what you mean, seems like every time I drive my car it feels slower and slower lol. I wonder if they'll cut a deal to upgrade to a stage2 instead of paying the 7k for the new kit. I don't think there's a big difference between the 1.5 and 2 besides the sc.

You can go to STG 2 from 1 for less than 7K I believe..

This ^ comes up if you sort for the 370 but it should be pretty close in terms of price and contents for the HR. Mike should be able to put together a kit if its slightly different.

I think if I was contemplating more power and the upgrade path cost me 5K I'd probably spend a little more and switch to the GTM MHI TT kit if they ever offer it for the HR. The pricing for that kit is nuts.

Let me know if you make the jump to the 1.5 or stage 2, eager to see what numbers you put down.

I recently put down 438 whp on the dynojet in my 5AT HR sedan using the 88mm pulley. The car runs and feels very strong. I was hoping for 450, but 438 is still very solid IMO.Stock my car put down 258 whp on the dynojetI'm thinking about selling my full kit for $4500 to slap in a built engine with some twin turbos. Man this hobby is addicting if anyone has any other questions let me know.

Default Need help

I have this same set up. I was tuning it and blew one charger. I replaced it now it runs funky I think it’s really rich. Anyways I figure it’s from tuning it when the charger was going out. Bad tune now my tuner won’t get back to me. I’m stuck and dnt know where to go from here. I was trying to get the original base tune for the Gtm 1.5 kit. Hoping I could just put it back on. Any ideas guys.
