New setup in the works
Been driving the car around some. Next thing to do is pull it all apart to get the motor freshened up, get catch cans mounted somewhere and a power steering reservoir made up. Just havent had the time or cash for the car lately.
They are Burns Stainless mufflers. Gives the car a pretty unique sound and no rasp what so ever. I had them on my old exhaust, they just got moved to a different location for this one.
Very interesting. Rasp would be my concern with only relatively small race mufflers and nothing else inline. Would love to hear sound clips at idle and normal acceleration on the street.
Hah I saw those vids with the rest of the tx2k vids. Thought it was yours!
Moar vids plz meaty! If you don't mind
And major lol @ "all i need to do is pull everything apart and freshen her up" lol. Probably easy for you!
I've been considering buying a new set of rods for my engine and swapping them out... Setting the clearances the same I have, but then I go; Oh wait. No thanks.

I think I can get mine entire drivetrain out in 45min so its not that bad. I still need to install my new clutch too.

Pull intercooler, radiator and either lift the motor out the top or pull the tranny out the bottom in either order. The midplate keeps either the motor up or the trans up if you pull the other one out.
