New setup in the works
Did you not have those turbos in that location on the last build or was that some other car I saw? I get the builds mixed up on here. I know you used the 20g turbos but wasn't sure if it was the full kit or custom mount.
I was hopeing to get these new turbos next to the block but they just wouldnt fit unless I ditched power steering and flipped the alternator around and put in front of the motor. Even with doing the motor plate it wasnt enough room.
VTR's car has em like that.
aesthetically, that location is awesome and really cuts down on the cold side piping. just need to be able to fab forward facing manifolds. Based on VTRs pics, actually looked very simple.
performance wise, prolly no different than SP/SFR header placement. And i'll keep telling myself that

Since you have to make custom manifolds, will the down pipes rund under them (new manifolds)? If the manifolds are built more "upwards" there may be enough room to run some 3" down pipes on each side. On the passenger side you would need an oil filter relocation kit, but that is no big deal.
Or, you are just having short pipes and no exhaust.

plenty of room for mufflers
could even have them cross over so driver turbo exits passenger side and vice versa just an idea lol

Will have some pictures of the turbo manifolds today after we get them tacked up.

I really dont know if I am a fan of the motor plate. the mounting points on the engine are to close together to handle twisting of the engine. Not unless there is something I am not seeing to spread the load out. I would machine 3/8 off of the bellhousing put in a motor plate.

The car has a mid plate too if that it what you mean.
