Stillen Supercharger Installed!!!!!
Ok, I've asked people about this superchargers number of times. No one seems to have it. Stillen told me that they sold over 100 units. It's hard to believe that nobody on this forum has one on their car. I'm trying to compare numbers so please, none of this 'I know a guy who has one', 'I heard a guy', 'I spoke to a guy'. If you have one please post some numbers. Here are some pics and descriptions.
Before
Before
Dyno Sheet
OK, here we're looking for the gain. Please just dont' post your numbers. I'm trying to compare and troubleshoot.
Before supercharger = 226hp
After Supercharger = 303hp
Conditions were identical.
We ran a base run on Fri. Installed the unit, then dynoed on Sunday.
Please don't post 'so and so's car with the same unit did 350hp'. I'm looking for the gain. Before and after.

Overall
Overall, I have to say this is the easiest bolt on I ever worked on. 2 People working on the car with 1 goofing off half the time, we knocked this baby out in less than 6 hours.
Heres the problem. At first start up, it ran good for 10seconds and a loud pitch noise was present. We called Stillen and they said it was a vacuum leak. There aren't that many hoses that we had to fool with so it was easy to check for leaks. Here's what we found. The leak was coming from the seal between the supercharger and the upper plennum cover. These two parts come preassembled from Stillen.
So, we took it apart and noticed the bolts that hold these two parts together were loose and didn't have locktight on them. Well since there were no torque specs on these bolts, we tightened them to our discression.
Put the thing back together and the noise was still pressent. It's almost like when you stretch a mouth of a baloon.
Took it apart and RTV the damn thing. Problem solved.
Here's the picture of the gasket Stillen used. Piece of **** if you ask me.

Thanks for the pic. Do you have one standing next to the drivers door facing forward and/or one facing out the windshield from the drivers seat? One from the side, head on, etc. Thanks! Hehe.
Did you change wheels? The first pics it looks like you have ADR Cypher wheels and in the last pic, it looks like some other wheels. Also, if you installed it yourself what was the labor charge for? The kit without the Intercooler is only $3795 and the Hood addon is like $450. What else did you get? Wheels?
