premix in gas
Yes, and of course those are regularly-driven street cars, with cats and O2 sensors, right? Please, apples to apples.
BTW, I do add MMO to the gas in my '74 Alfa Spider. It has mechanical fuel injection, and since lead additives were removed from gas, those injection pumps have become prone to excessive wear, so the MMO does work to lube the tiny injection pistons. But, that's an ancient motor, with no cat, no O2 sensor, and excessive HCO dumped into the exhaust by design and limited technology. Hardly the same situation as described by the PO.

Some of you need to calm your ****. Read it for what it is, He did it and reported on it. You as individuals can later decide and disseminate the information. Those that properly rebutted his question has a validity in here, otherwise go kick rocks in the OT.
Not sure if it's similar or not to what the OP uses, I've soaked the cylinders on my Z for a few days with MMO and it actually improved compression by 5-10 points, I guess by breaking up all the **** built up over the years of running pig rich. I considered putting some in the tank but stopped while I was 'ahead' lol. Was fun driving around with a smoke screen behind me for 10 miles.
