Default Vortech bypass valve question

1- I have researched and it looks like most people run the Vortech bypass valve "manifold vacuum port" up to the front little stub on the upper plenum. Is this correct?

2- In the Vortech install instructions it also states that "On vehicles equiped with mass air, the bypass valve discharge should be plumbed back into the supercharger after the MAF." Has anyone done this before? The discharge is a really odd oval shape and pretty big. Is it necesarry?

3- One last question, on the bypass valve, do I need to back-out the spring adjuster/jam nut to 6-8 threads like I've read? (Is that counting threads from the jam nut to the housing?) Or should I leave it alone the way it came from Vortech?

Thanks in advance guys.

1. Anywhere you pick up Intake Vacuum is fine.

2. No Necesarry! I put a filter on mine to quite it down.

3. It's come pre-adjusted from vortech.
