Hey folks,
I tend to lurk and come back every couple of months to see if anything has changed for the VQ35HR. Motor is coming together soon for my build on my VQ35HR, and I am interested if there are any updated options for engine management and our 35HR motors....
I am aware of the following:
I am also aware that Haltech has or had a plan for Haltech VQ35HR version of their EMS with a supposed time to market sometime in 2014.
Does anybody know if this is still in the works?
I ask this because it looks like Haltech doesn't officially support dual throttle bodies, in which case using a Haltech EMS w/ Dynosty's custom harness, what actual limitations does that impose for tuning with the VQ35HR (if any)? Any big snags, or gotcha's that are not talked about?
That's a lot of coin to drop for a Haltech in the event it does have some fundamental limitations due to not being designed for the VQ35HR.
Any other options out there for the VQ35HR with respect to forced induction that I have not listed and are newer/or stuff coming to market soon with legit VQ35HR support?
Anything else anyone has done to support things like knock detection and reaction to protect the motor, over boost protection etc?
(Note - I did search of course before posting this... I am interested if there is any NEW options, and not things from threads from 2006-2008.)

I am aware of the following:
- Uprev
- Haltech EMS w/ Dynosty Custom Harness
- MoTec - IIRC there was trouble with getting it to work, but it does - the cost is pretty high though for the solution

What's you HP goals
So far UpRev with some tweaking does the job, and from my research you can with a knowledgeable tuner codes delete permanently. So you can future strip the engine of accessories.

I thought the AEM Infinity and new Haltech elite supported dual TBs.
See the drive by wire portion for the infinity
