Default AFR not changing

Ok so i have a serious problem. I have a wide band sensor and during normal cruising the guage reads 14.6/7. Which i believe is fine. The problem is, when im on boost, it STILLS reads 14.6/7. Any suggestions?

So when i turn the car on without starting it, the gauge still reads 14.7. Could that be a tune issue? Im lean towards gauge/sensor problem

yea sounds like bad sensor or disconnected sensor/wire. Had that exact same problem with my AEM eugo this weekend. was working under the dash and pulled the wire by accident and pulled plug out of the gauge. plugged back in and it worked. it will probably fluctuate more than .1 even if the tune is bad.

Is it an aem wb? If so, those seem to be pretty notorious for issues.

Thanks for the help. I was skeptical that it was a bad tune since everything else is on point. Wikl have to trace the problem down this weekend

Just get an innovate wb. Mine has been working fine. Only thing you should have to swap is o2 sensors every once a while.

Sounds easy. Qyick question, wherr did you install your o2 sensor, i read that posisition matters on accuracy and longevity. Did you placed it pre cat or post cat?

I don't have any cats on mine. It's on the downpipe on my kit..pretty much about under the clutch area, easiest way to explain.

I've had issues with my aem also, even sent it in and to get fixed, ended up being a bad unit, now I'm still having issues again after being replaced.

I might have to check on that. Cause like taywan said, the aem are notorious for failed sensor yet bosch has good review?

the AEM does use a Bosch sensor. seems to be working great for me so far. the closer upstream you have the sensor, the more accurate. precat of course. If you mount it upside down (in relation to the ground) it will affect longevity as unburnt fuel or water vapors collected at the bottom of the pipe can damage the sensor. I would check your connections to the sensor first. if there is no wiring issue it could be the sensor or even the gauge.

Thats for the info and the advice. I would most definitely check the sensor and wiring first. Hoping that its n9t the gauge itself. Thats going to be a pain...
