to make power you need number 1 : solve the belt issue to get maximum boost without too much belt tension which can lead to bearing failures in pulleys or in jackshaft.
before i get the structrod from TimRod.. i was getting the belt tight every week and finally the belt became bigger and i can not get it tight anymore.
i tried the structrod with 10 psi.. i was surprised with the result.. very smooth psi entire rpm. then when i decided to make 17 psi.. its was so smooth .. i got it so easy.
what happen is in high rpm and the supercharger plate flex toward the crank and the belt become lose and make belt slip..
The timrod structrod simply keep the plate in its position then you will get smooth increasing psi entire rpm until redline.

i worked in my car by my hands and i tuned it myself.. with smooth PSI I made 550whp. i seen many belt issues,, and without timrod structrod i will switch to turbo.. but now i'm so happy with my power.
I just wanted to throw in my 2 cents here also. I have an 03 non rev up with the V3Sci blower. Before the strutrod i was only making 9lbs and 458whp/390ftlbs with the 2.62 pulley and the 34/28 cogs and stock crank pulley. I throw on the strut rod and then re tuned. after doing this the belt slip was fixed and i made 13lbs with same gearing setup, 503.5whp and 435ftlbs - i would also contemplating switching to turbo, but with these numbers i am super happy. thanks again oldman!

Definitely gotta be careful for the higher boost crowd. I think I added too much tension on mine. After I reached 24psi@5800rpm , my belt snapped and my bracket got warped from the tension or force (I dunno which). So don’t over-tighten it.

with all due respect to the supercharger realm - I think there is only so far you can push them. I think if you want to big power (lets say over 600hp) you have to go turbo.

It is a challenge for sure, But I like Superchargers......... The Biggest hurdle is the 6 Rib Belt, the cost going to a 10 Rib is substantial.......
Colombo made well beyond 710WHP. And he went 167MPH in the Standing 1/2 Mile on 93 Pump Gas. (V2 Ti-Trim) @ 26psi, When he retuned on E85 it was over 800WHP
Aboodi has not been on a Dyno when completed. He is on E85 (V7 YSi-B) @ 32psi, But I'm sure High 800WHP

I enjoyed my time with my procharger (455 on 14psi) but they are limited. I think you see more people go from a supercharger to a turbo because their limits.

If you look at what the premier turbo'd members are/were putting down Colombo would be in the high teens and Aboodi at his 800hp would hypothetically put him 10th

Right now I been waiting for my friend to have some free development time to get some prototypes for some 10 rib pulleys before I continue.
Rather give up and upsize to the 3.13, I planned on going smaller with a 10 rib. Although it’ll take time for him to be free. I can probably guess it won’t started until at least late 2020/ early 2021.
Im just staying S/C because it’s fun to attempt for higher power that hasn’t been done before. I dunno, maybe I’m just stupid chasing the dream and losing a lot of money in the process.
