P0605 is it a death sentence for the ECM?
FWIW, the problem has seemed to go away. I'm not completely sure what I did, or if I even did anything.
When I make WOT pulls now, with the car controlling the throttle, the car pulls hard and the throttle doesn't cut out. I checked my log, and my TPS is reading 95 at WOT. I went back and looked at logs from when I ha the throttle cut out and the TPS was reading 97-99. I spoke with thatv35guy, thanks by the way, and his car also reads 95 at WOT. His car and mine are practically identical setups. I'm assuming that the TPS was reading out of range which then cut out my throttle.
I checked continuity in a lot of the wires, everything tested fine. I also swapped between two ECMs and the car vs ProEFI controlling the throttle. I also played with my buddies Autel computer setup. We did the throttle relearns and even put the car in a "self learning" mode. I have no idea if any of this actually did anything. But I'm thrilled that I can go out and make WOT pulls.
I don't know if my issue will pop up again. But at least I'll have an idea of what to look at. Thanks for all the input!

FML. My throttle issue came back. Also, the p0605 code is back. I'm starting to believe it the factory ECM going bad.
I swapped in the other ECM I bought last week and couldn't get the car to idle correctly, it idled with that ECM at ~2000rpms. So I swapped back in my factory ECM and did all the resets and it drove great for a couple of days. I made a pull yesterday and the throttle cut out. I checked the codes and the p0605 code was back.
With ProEFI controlling the throttle the car started to idle at ~3200rpms. And when I would push in the clutch to shift at ~2700rpms the car would rev up to ~3200rpms. I don't know if the factory ECM is messing with the idle/throttle issues when ProEFI is controlling the throttle. But I kind of believe it is.
I'm gonna talk to uprev today. And see if they think they can do anything with the ECM I bought. At idle it ran pretty crappy. Idling up and down at ~2000rpms.
Really starting to hate this car...

I doubt TS reflash it. I thought I read that they no longer do reflashes. Also, the ECM was flashed back in 2006 by the original owner.
So, I'm trying to figure out why the car would run like crap after swapping my factory ECM for the one I bought. I previously had a trans-am, whenever I swapped a different chip into the ECM I had to unplug th battery for a few minutes. I didn't do that when i swapped in the new ECM. Maybe that has something to do with that? If the ECM I bought is good, the car should run normally, right?

I believe the expected cam codes are 1111 and 1136.
The p0605 code is back. I imagine that the ECM is going bad. It's the only thing I can think of. I'm thinking about sending it out to be tested. Has anyone had an experience with having a factory ECM repaired?
My other concern is why won't that car run correctly with the used ECM I purchased? I should be able to just swap the ECM in and out, right? I just tried disconnecting the battery swapping the factory ECM for the used one and let the car sit with the battery disconnected for 20 mins. I started the car up and I couldn't even make it out of my driveway before my throttle cut out.
I hate these types of issues, that will not give consistent-like errors that can be traced.
I cant think of anything else you need to check, so subbing for the learning on my part.
wish you luck sir.

Looks like this guy had a similar problem: https://my350z.com/forum/forced-indu...lp-plzzzz.html
Don't think he ever posted a solution though...

Again, the p0605 code is back...
I'm debating sending my factory ECU to a shop that specializes in ECU repair and have them check it. That p0605 code bothers me.
