head studs and main studs??

Default head studs and main studs??

This is probably old news however can't find anything solid on specs as far as boost when built blocks ahve to have to be equiped with head studs L19 or HR or main studs?

If you are building the motor, then best to use Dynosty or HKS head gasket with L19 head studs. A few people have gotten lucky on their stock motors making good power for a long time... most have not.

The online rule of thumb people usually say is <600hp (up to 600whp) hr is fine. People have pushed past that.

But any shop worth their weight in salt will tell you to get L19's. With head lift, better to spend a couple hundred bucks more and get the l19's and never worry about it.

TTY bolt vs Tool Steel stud... You really get what you pay for.
