Default greddy tt kit question

when installed, im looking to keep the boost at what greddy recommends.. something like 5.6lbs.. do i need to adjust my timing with such low boost.. and will the a/f ratio need ajusted as well? will i be able to just use the included e-manage fuel computer? or should i get like a techno square ecu too? as i said, i want to keep the boost pretty low

The kit comes as a Bolt-On, so I do not think you need to get anything else.

Timing control is always a good idea with FI on a high compression motor. Technosquare has a program for tt applications....called the Jotech program. You may want to add a blow-off valve to the kit to help reduce stress on the turbo impellers and bearings as well. Gauges would also be a good idea... boost, temp, egt, etc.

how about the air/fuel ratios? should those be altered? or can i just leave them as is at 5.6lbs of boost? if it does need to be altered, what product could do it for me?

If you want to stay with the pre-programmed e-manage that comes with the kit then you should be O.K with you're A/F ratios but they will be on the rich side. This is done because of the lack of timing control with the kit and they need the extra fuel to keep detonation down at 5.6 psi. If you wanted to alter it you could buy a Greddy Profec e-01 and then re-set (initialize) the e-manage and start tuning from the bottom up to make you're own maps. Just make sure you have someone do it who has a lot of experience with the e-manage/e-o1 combination. If this is the route you end up taking then you might as well add in the $40 ignition harness and do ignition maps as well.

I have the TT kit and you just add it on to the car. the e-manage is solid. If you are going to higher boost then you would have to do other work.

at that boost, i would imagine no problem. it wouldnt hurt to get your ECU remapped if your extremely concerned and dont mind paying the money.

Does anyone run the technosquare ECU reflash instead of the emanage? I did some searching and havent really found much about after market forced induction managed by a ECU reflash. Any answers would be appreciated.

As for management with higher boost applications, I hope the emanage suppiled by Greddy at least has a basemap if not tuned for the boost settings on the wastegate already. Its pretty basic to control the level of boost you want to run. The top banjo fitting on the Tial/Greddy wastegate is where you would hook up a boost line to a EBC or MBC. You can control your boost that way but you are going to need to tune on top of the map already loaded into the emanage. Also with more boost the timing is needs to be adjusted.

I believe the manual that comes with the IC kit says with the IC you can run .6 bar. So .6 bar = 8.702264 psi.

Question Greddy T/T kit....intercooler?

Hi, I would like to know is it require to remove the front protected bar from installing the Greddy Intercooler? And If I install the intercooler does it means I cant have the Protected bar anymore?
By the way, is the wastegate usefull in in 350hps Z? If not then I am planning to get PE t/t kit.

Which T/T will you guys choose interms of performance, best T/T kit parts, and reliable T/T kit?

Thank you..

You can turn the boost on the greddy kit up to 8lbs with an intercooler. However the fuel mixture gets a little lean at high rpms.(13.5:1)

But this makes quite a bit of power 391 actual hp to the ground

If someone wanted to completely reprogram the e-manage I bet you could run about 10lbs.
