Ether-
i'm not sure what the 'official' line from PE is concerning higher boost levels.. but.. aren't you in japan! there are like 20 ecus out there for you!

the only reason why the US is limited in boost levels is because most states only have 91 or 93 octane. its really not high enough to prevent ping.. but isnt japan like 98?

stock timing on the ecu is a bit high for anything higher than 4psi boost, but if you got higher octane, maybe 1 step colder plugs -- ??

Here's the contact info for PE japan.

i'd give them a call...

Any updates on the install? Can't wait to see the PE kit installed and tuned.

Default Try Broquet!

I had tried Using Broquet (http://www.broquet.co.uk/) which is a fuel catalyst this will increase the octane percentage and horsepower too.. although i didnt dyno it but you can feel it . But I dont know can you get this in the state or not.. because i got mine in MALAYSIA. I think it cost USD 300-400...
try and read from the site i think it may help you solve the fuel octane.

Good Luck

That appears to a conversion filter for engines requiring leaded fuel when only unleaded is available, unless I misread.

Those are the nicest welds I have EVER seen. I'd type more but every time I see that pic I got one hand doing something else.
