Default HKS EVC6 (no solenoid)| APS Front Mount kit| Turbowerx Scavenge(NEW)

Hi,

1) I have a HKS EVC6 boost controller for sale. Come with the harnesses, but I don't have the stepper motor/solenoid. You can try to find one online somewhere. I have tried directly with HKS with no luck. This has been perfectly tested with a buddies solenoid. Powers up and connects to a solenoid with ZERO issues.

Normally they go for $650.00. Asking for $250.00 shipped. Priced because of the missing solenoid.

2) I have a APS front mount intercooler kit that has been reflanged for an HKS BOV. It is missing the lower pipe and brackets, but easily can be made. It is in decent shape. Some fins I will straighten out before shipping it out. Asking 400 + shipping

SOLD AS A COMPLETE SET... NOT PARTING OUT THE UPPER IC PIPE

Comes with:

Intercooler core
Upper Intercooler pipe w/ HKS flange
Upper IC to Intercooler Silicon coupler w/clamps
Upper IC to TB silicon coupler w/clamps
Authentic HKS BOV
MAF sensor

3) I have a Turbowerx scavenge pump for sale. I bought it new for a project and did not end up using it. I paid 250.00 + 25 for shipping. 210 shipped

I've been looking for a valve unit for the last hour, can't seem to find one. If I find a source I would be interested in this but I gotta know i can actually use it first.

Yup, good luck. I tried using a EVC 5 solenoid. I don't know if my EVC 5 is bad or not. It didn't work. It displays "solenoid not found" when i plug in the EVC 5. A buddy has an EVC 6 and his EVC 6 solenoid worked with no problems.

I contacted HKS on a couple of occasions(HKS USA support has now been closed). They do not sell the solenoid separately. They could not confirm if the EVC 5 solenoid would work... reason I bought a used EVC 5 unit.

My next step was to test with a generic PWM stepper. You find them on the greddy, AEM, ect... They are driven by a duty cycle and the controller will adjust accordingly (reason why solenoids are noisy). The HKS unit is also a PWM solenoid, but not sure if the actual controller is looking for a specific resistance to identify the unit (to prevent interchangeability)

Yeah HKS makes a big deal about the new, faster stepper motor used in the 6, I think as you say it's looking for a specific resistance.

PM's sent. I'm going to order a solenoid for the EVC6 and see if it works.
