I think you would be foolish not to get at the very least 440cc injectors and an upgraded fuel pump like a walbro 255lph for your goals. You will not get those numbers at all without them.

On top of that you will need an Uprev tune so you will pay more.

FI is not cheap. So don't cheap out on the parts you need to keep it reliable and in working order.

Pay for the complete kit for Vortech which is +6100 and it will use all your oem fuel components. That does not include labor. At most you will get 330-335whp from their out of the box tune.

So in essence you will be spending stupid amounts of money for a boost of maybe 100whp. It's cheaper to get the tuner kit and piece together better injectors, fuel pump and retune and make more power. But ultimately that decision is up to u to decide.

^^^ Agreed. 100%. Totally.

But here's something else to consider... there's also a practical reason - never mind minimal power gains - for not cheaping out on the fuel delivery side.

Hand grenade.

Boosted engines that lean out because fuel delivery and the proper tune (ignition timing retard, etc) that can't keep up with boost levels will surely suffer a fate worse than death.

Case in point: If you look at any factory turbo application, they ALL have fuel delivery systems (as well as hardware, e.g. sodium filled valves, etc) well above the normally aspirated models and are capable of handling the boosted motor.

You can't slap on a snail without SUPPORTING MODS.

But it's your car.

Honestly not sure why you're so concerned about keeping the stock pump and injectors. They're not that expensive, especially if you buy them used (preferably flow matched and cleaned), and probably the easiest part of the install compared to FI.
