Quick update on the car.

Car is running amazing and slowly figuring out the boost controller to get the numbers i want.

Wife hates the T51-R mod, says the turbos to loud and she hates the turbo whistle. However the kids absolutely love it, they ask to for a ride all the time. I may have a problem later in life...

Only downside I'm having is the turbo is still leaking oil into the intake. I went to re-lube my sway bars and pulled of my intercooler piping and had not kidding roughly a quart of oil in my lower intercooler tube... I have the one way valve but no oil restrictor. I may have to get a oil restrictor as well.

I joined a few local car groups to see if anyone goes on cruises or what not. I found out that next weekend they are planning a trip to a drag strip about two hours away. If the weather is good I plan on attending and making a few passes. The plan is two passes on low boost and two passes on high boost.

Hopefully i'll.gave some time slips next weekend.

Welp, didn't have a great outing. Only made three passes, it was soooo hot and then started raining so I left early. Was hoping to get two runs on low boost and two on high just to back up numbers. Ended up making 2 on low and 1 on high. 2nd low boost didn't get a slip and was in line to make 2nd high boost when it started raining.

1st pass - 7-8psi
2.5026 - 60'
6.1839 - 330'
9.1575 - 660'
85.24 mph

3rd pass - 10-11psi
2.1882 - 60'
5.8867 - 330'
8.7548 - 660'
88.85 mph

I forgot how to launch the car and wheel hop killed 1-2 shifts.

Considered a Draggy? Seems to be spot on compared to slips.. Would get rid of these situations + can review later.

I don't race it very often, so I hadn't thought about it.

Been working on the car the past few days. I've put about 3K on it since the turbo install so it's time for the oil change and try to fix a few little things.

First and foremost I need to resolve the oil in the intake issue. No idea what is going on, I have an oil sump and let it run for 10-15 second after shutting the car off to siphon the oil out of the turbo. Turbo is fed with a -4 with no restrictor just a one way valve to prevent oil from leaking into the turbo when the car is off.

I'm looking at getting a Turbo Smart Oil Pressure Regulator and putting a vent on the Oil Sump Block. I've been reading and apparently a vent on the sump block thing is recommended for low mount turbos.

Many may crucify me for this, but I sure have enjoyed haveing an oiless turbo. Wish I had more advice here, but all I got is go pick up an oilless from someone and dont look back at the headaches of a sumped midmount.

If I had the money, I'd love to switch over!!! I wouldn't mind pulling the car up on ramps every few thousand miles to put a little more grease in it.

Last week I ordered -4 AN line, Turbo Smart OPR, and new Wastegate V-bands. Friday morning I added a vent to the turbo oil drain sump box thingy.

Last night I started working on the car hoping to have it running this morning, that didn't happen.

After building the new AN lines and Mounting the OPR, I realized the old Oil Supply was -3, so last night I had to order some new adapter to finish the oil supply to the Turbo. According to Amazon the new fittings should be here Sunday.

When the new Fittings get here I'll mount the Turbo and reinstall all the piping and let it idle for a little bit to see if we get any oil out the oil sump box thing.

Don't be too hard on yourself. Low mount oil feed turbos give people fits all the time. It can be simplified to a couple causes and then from there just need to track down whichi one it is. Does it smoke at idle? Need to make sure it is indeed the turbo. If it is the turbo then it can really be only a couple of root causes.
Too much oil feed.
Not enough oil drain.
Blown turbo seals.

My trouble shooting would probably start with the drain and basically set is with the car on stands and just drain into a pan. (if the problem shows itself quickly at idle currently.)
Then dial back the feed to see if it is too high.
Lastly, pull the turbo and have a shop inspect the center.
