Default Priming new Engine with oil

I know on other cars you just take plugs out and disconnect injectors and crank it. Withing 10 sec you would get 1-2 PSI of oil pressure. Well this doesn't work on VQ. After couple tries i have no oil in the oil filter and no pressure on the gauge. So how do you do this on the VQ ?

Use a pressurized fill system and attach it up to the oil pressure sending port. That will get oil in the galleries and bearings then just start the car. The motive 1735 power fill pro or many others, I think the LS needs a similar system, will work you just need a bspt adaptor and probably some more hose to conect to the system. If it's a new oil pump you might need to fill the pump with oil, assembly lube, or even grease to get it to prime. The oil pump relies on the oil to help it seal and create a vacuum.

did you use an assembly lube when you assemble the engine? I've heard vasoline works for pre-priming the oil pump.

(not being a doucher) If you used assembly lube do you feel it wont protect until you generate oil pressure? being cautious?
Did you use a mineral oil on components as well? Just curious what product you use??
Did you do billet gears in your oil pump?

Assembly lube and Conventional oil nothing else. No billet gears, just OEM rev up pump.

You have the Motive 1735, why are you not using it?

Didn't know I have to, everybody saying it should be easy 10 sec cranking. But apparently it's not.
