Default New era turbos

Hi guys,
Im looking into single turbo options and cant find much on the latest tech turbos on this site.
Ive tried searching and read scanning through the sticky threads without luck.
I have a vq35hr in a track only car which is unopened.
It will run e85 and im looking for about 500whp to try and keep the motor alive.
Is anyone running new tech turbos like EFR 8474 or Garrett g30/gtx gen 2 etc?
Any input would be great.
Thanks

I'm a Garrett GTX fan, prefer something from a OE manufacturer like Garrett.

Also running a Garrett GTX...

A. Not too many turbo’d HR is these parts, most HR guys are running superchargers.

what turbo technology are you looking for that a GTX doesn’t have?

why run e85 if you can run 91/93 octane to hit 500hp?

Thanks for replies.
Im not looking for technology that a gtx doesn't have im asking if anyone is running/ looking for feedback on a gtx gen 2 or g30 or efr 8474 ie the newest tech turbos.
Its a track car so why use petrol when e85 makes power much easier/safer/cooler?

what are you tuning with?

easier?? debatable - but I'd say no...
safer when done right - yes
cooler compared to gasoline alone - yes

Im personally not a fan of E85 but I'm not mad at anyone who is. I also acknowledge there are some attribute of E85 that are superior than traditional gasoline. Everyone thinks E85 is a god-send (and it may be when done right) -

My reasons (may differ from yours):
1. Availability - not readily available in my area ... a few stations carry it but not enough to justify
2. Not very many people use it (as gas prices are low / lower) and subsequently I dont think it gets cycled through the tanks fast enough to have consistent fuel quality.
3. Gas station E85 can vary in grade ... I've heard down to E60. And if youre ECU isnt setup with an ethanol sensor and you're running aggressive timing this can be the end of your engine(bent rod).
4. Swapping back between gasoline & E85 can be problematic
5. Bad fuel mileage and/or need more E85 to do the same distance (as compared to traditional gas)
6. Additional pump/injectors/sensors and additional tuning required. My car is already topped out so going E85 wouldnt yield me any additional power.
7. Cold starts suck with E85
8. Quite possibly the biggest reason - E85 breaks down your oil and requires oil changes much more frequent...the last thing I want to do to my engine is jeopardize the oil protection(spun bearing).
9. I can get the same cooling effect with water-methanol and with a pre-turbo nozzle my water methanol cools the turbo as well.
