Hey everyone, So I'm at a loss not able to figure out this problem and wondering if anyone has had similar issues?
So, I'm trying to get my car tuned right now with this setup: Rev 9 turbo kit
Cx racing turbo t3 .60 .63 a/R
Tial 38 mm wastegate 10 psi spring
black flag 255lph fuel pump
630/660cc Bosch injectors
Greddy Rs race single exit
Uprev MAF GT
Aluminum Maf Housing 3" Outside Diameter/ 2.75" Inside Diameter
UpRev Tuner
Basically what is happening is under WOT bank 2 especially says its lean goin upwards of 20 A/F having major bank to bank variance after I put a new motor in from Japan. My tuner said that it was an exhaust leak or a vacuum leak but after going through everything on the car their are no apparent leaks anywhere we also compression tested the car with all cylinders 145+ Although my tuner said this when I had this same issue on idling, but they then got it to idle without the bank variance. I'm at a loss at this point thinking it may be a bad fuel pump, after swapping injectors to the other bank to see if the issue would switch banks. I also have replaced upstream o2 sensors and cam and crank sensors. I ran this similar setup with a rev9 turbo on my old motor before it blew needing a new turbo as well leaving me at a loss, any ideas would be very helpful!
(I'm on a 2nd base tune)
Are the o2 sensors plugged into the correct sides? Did they get swapped when you put the new engine in?
Do you mean putting them on the correct side upstream or downstream? or just the upstream sensors, but I believe they are on the correct sides and I recently replaced bank 2's upstream o2 sensor thinking that was the problem at first.
I tried to open the data log won't open might be a problem on my end, what is your
cranking enrichment values,
injector priming pulse modes
at
noticed you have an uprev maf on 10psi
you can run a stock maf, it can handle about 510hp before the volts pass 5v and you go into limp mode,
I have a hard time getting the logs to open as well, the way I usually view them is on google drive. I'll see if I can find the stock MAF somewhere, my last tuner said i would need that MAF. Do you think it could be a MAF issue?
Also, ill get some logs with the cranking enrichment values and injector prime pulse modes
No, I was just thinking you could test out a different maf, uprev maf is far superior, but rule out bad maf,
you said lean on wot?
tps? You could put maps all to 0 and work your way in

Yea, so I'm getting tuned by RZG Motorsports, before I was running lean on bank 2 at idle having major bank to bank variance. They told me it was an exhaust leak or vacuum leak, so I spent days trying to find any exhaust leaks or vacuum leaks. After not finding any and telling them they sent me another tune that then idled great without the bank to bank variance until they had me do a WOT pull in 3rd gear. Then it started doing the same thing again having major bank to bank variance and running really lean in Bank 2, I also recently got a code for bank 1 sensor 1 for some reason even though the main problem is on bank 2.
Do you mean the cruise control maps? As of now I don't have the cruise control buttons so I cannot switch maps
are you able to send me your tune rom, don't know if they allow that on here, but wouldn't mind looking at it,
do you know how to datalog?
Yea I'm able to plug in the laptop and do data logging, but I don't have any of the tuning software so the rom is from RZG.
It also does not let me put in the rom file in but I can put pictures of the logs if your not able to look at the logs that I have put.
so you tested for vacuum leaks?
tested exhaust leaks?
did you test a different maf?
spark plugs?
fuel pressure?
o2 sensors?
fuel injectors on bank 2?
do you run a pvc or did you do a delete?

We tested for exhaust leaks and vacuum leaks finding nothing, spark plugs looked alright, I replaced o2 sensors first thinking that was the problem.
We also swapped injectors to the opposite bank to see if the problem would switch to bank 1 but it did not.
I run the stock PCV, I got an oil catch can but I'm trying to get this sorted first.
Is there a way to check fuel pressure on the 2005 350z's? I didn't think their was a way, but I got a new fuel pump on the way thinking that may be the cause.
I should have looked at your images you posted, didn't bother to after I tried to open your data logs,
but as you can see in the tables I circled, the values should be in the range of 95 to 105, afr cor b2 is at 125 your wb b2 is reading 18.25
its not a cold start up your engine temp is at 183f and your base fuel schedule 7.3 950 rpm
do you know if he scaled the bfs, they need to be scaled a bit when you install bigger injectors, should still be in closed loop at 950 rpm
if I remember right the fuel pressure should be about 55psi

Alright, well my new walbro 255 fuel pump should be here in the next 2 days hopefully, and i'll ask my tuner then if they have done that. But they have told me there is something wrong with the car, but they have said that before when it did the same thing on idle so it could be possible.
Is there a way to check the fuel pressure on the 350z? I didn't think their was a area to tap in a fuel pressure gauge.

So when I bought new o2 Sensors, i just got Bosch o2 Sensors and they said it goes for both sides on the upstream. How do you know which goes for bank 1 and bank 2?
